We have now installed carpet in the boiler room (our crawl-in closet) and in the part of the lower deck that we use as a walk-in closet (our walk-in closet). We started on the boiler room this week, and last night the carpet in the larger room was installed.

Crawl in closet was a fun expression! But won't it be damp with a carpet on a boat? Or maybe it's my prejudice that it should be more humid there than in an ordinary home.

No M, it can be a bit damp sometimes, but in that case we turn on the dehumidifier. It's certainly not so damp that we can't have carpets.
