Great to follow your top 10 lists.
In August 2000 we drove in France with stops and overnight stays in small towns and in the countryside according to a pre-arranged plan. We stopped at a rather unassuming hotel, Val de Vienne, located along the Vienne river far out in the countryside. There they had a restaurant called la Grimoleé (probably a catering school), where we had the most fantastic dinner I have ever had. Among other things, we ate snails for the first time. Heavenly good!
Otherwise, I'm crazy about Greek cuisine.

I wonder if Gösta in Smögen is still in a good position!
15 May 20011 we were in the car park above the pier with the motorhome!
Shopping with Gösta and celebrating 45 years!

Chinese street food with soooo good food, after a number of "fancier" but less good Chinese meals.
Freshly caught smoked fish in Ostrobothnia, Finland.
Fish and chips, Hvite sande, Denmark ...

Mmmm now I get really hungry from all the food pictures! 😀
My absolute favourite food is hummus, baba ganoush, "tahina with spices" and similar... Arabic food/meze. I could live on pita bread, vegetable sticks and hummus haha.

Now I immediately became even hungrier than I already was! Dregel, dregel! I want everything, especially the McLobster at Donken. Then I gladly skip the goulash soup. Paprika does not like me;-)
As you suggested, Chinese food in Stockholm is quite far from the original.
Likes Spanish food with serrano ham and all those lovely cheeses that cost a fortune at home.

Very good as you showed and wonderful photos. And a trip is also about food. I became hungry for Canada lobster among other things.
I am very fond of Asian food and my favourite is the Chinese food that I have eaten in Beijing on small pickles. Also in Beijing, I've tried a champagne brunch at the St.Regis Hotel a few times and it's incredibly memorable and includes the most and best of Asian cuisines, delicious seafood and Mediterranean-inspired food. Amazingly delicious.
But Swedish prawns are also good.
Always fun even when travelling in Sweden and the Nordic countries to try the specialities of different regions or countries. Then if everything is good to my taste, that is something completely different.

Steve, wonderful when you find those gems! And agree that Greek food is good.
Lennart, nice to hear that you also have a good memory of Smögen!
Active Days, it's not always the most luxurious places that provide the best food memories...
Alexandra, I also love hummus and baba ganoush!
🙂
BP, no it is difficult to get good Chinese food in Sweden... and I agree that Spanish food can be good!
Ditte, I understand that you have eaten all kinds of Chinese food! And isn't it good to have variety, Asian sometimes, Mediterranean sometimes, and Swedish sometimes?

Marie, we love Chinese cuisine! Unfortunately, Chinese food in Sweden is pretty boring, but in China (and other parts of Asia) you can get absolutely fantastic Chinese food!
