Viking Line Cinderella - on a cruise

We made a trip with Viking Line Cinderella between Friday and Saturday. Sometimes it is nice to get away on a small trip, even if you do not go so far away. The entertainment section on Viking Line Cinderella has been rebuilt, and there is both a new nightclub and new restaurants. So what did we think?

Restaurants at Cinderella

Viking Line Cinderella

We have been able to try two different restaurants on board the the vessel. We had dinner at the new Italian restaurant Bottega Prosecco Bar. We must say that this restaurant offered a very nice environment, good food and great service! We shared a plate of Italian cold cuts for starters and then had a perfectly cooked beef fillet for the main course.

Today we had lunch at Ocean Grill, which unfortunately was not as impressive. Here we were greeted by far too long waiting times and somewhat disengaged service. The food was ok, but not as good as at Bottega Prosecco Bar.

The interior of the new parts definitely makes the cruise feel a little more luxurious compared to before. But otherwise, the atmosphere is as it should be on an Åland cruise ... plenty of people who have had the occasional Longdrink too much in Tax Freen.

Entertainment on the Viking Line Cinderella

The atmosphere in the women's toilets was probably at its best. There the happy chatter was loud! Unfortunately, the music was not much for us. There was, among other things, karaokee and otherwise it was rock and dance music from the 90s, performed by some half-bored entertainers in glittery clothes. But that's always the case, you have to like the music to feel like dancing. For us it was not too late on Friday night ...
