As some of you have noticed, we've had a bit of a rough time lately: broken sewer, migraines, cold nights and complicated tax returns ... An accident rarely comes alone, as the saying goes. And there seems to be no end to the accidents really yet.
More papers to be submitted
As you may recall, we recently (after 40 weeks) had a the building licence. So everything is ready, except that a small "technical consultation" is also expected. And for this consultation they apparently want "some papers", as we were informed today.
Tonight we have worked hard to put together an inspection plan, demolition plan, timetable, budget, moisture protection description, ventilation system report and energy requirement calculation. Absolutely crazy! Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that they will have time to look at our papers and invite us to a meeting ... because now we are running out of time.
BP says:
Double and triple sigh, I say. Now I work for a company that writes about such plans. Very boring reading when you layout books about such things, I can tell you. You almost don't believe it's true. But it obviously is with you.
I continue to feel sorry for you - the way you are struggling. But you can always "go back" and buy a flat instead. I would have done that the first time I had a problem with the water pump ...

Katta's Considerations says:
I understand that you are sick and tired of a lot of things now, I hope it turns around so you can start with your projects. I too have been dealing with the declaration's problems and had 8 different administrators who would assist,, in the end everything was solved. Sending good luck greetings. Even our rope has not started but now we are having fun ordering everything home.

Mr Steve says:
Sometimes life is more than legitimately recalcitrant.
No wonder the municipality "has a lot to do", as they explained the 40 weeks, if they also have time for "small technical consultations".
However, I am convinced that you will solve this as well. You won't let yourself be grinded down by the mills of bureaucracy.

Ditte says:
And what foresight! First 40 weeks of waiting and then in a few hours you have to organise the rest of the paperwork. Who thought of this? It's deplorable! But now we all keep our fingers crossed that it will go well. Positive? Yes to you but a big cactus to those bureaucrats.

BP, there's no apartment right now... but it's still a bit difficult...
🙁
Katta, the declaration thing doesn't sound like fun either! Yes, we hope that it turns around sometime ...
Steve, we do what we can, but it's easy to feel powerless against the municipality...
Lennart, we also wonder...
Ditte, it feels really sad when you think you were out in good time...
