Swedish company Alde is sponsoring a unique project in Qatar to create the caravans of the future. Matt Attenborough and Qatar University are behind the project. The next generation caravan will have modern design, intelligent technology and... Alde's heating system.
New generation
The project is called New Generation and is the brainchild of American Matt Attenborough. He felt that the development of motorhomes and caravans was at a standstill, moved to the Qatar and started dreaming about the future of mobile living.
Today, he has a finished sketch of his dream caravan and has launched a crowdfunding programme. As soon as the target of $125 000 is reached, the construction of the prototype will start, hopefully to be displayed next winter.
Intelligent technology and exciting foods
The mobile caravan of the future features modern design, intelligent technology and better materials. It also has slide outs in all directions, providing large, flexible surfaces. Swedish company Alde, which manufactures heating systems for motorhomes and caravans, is contributing heating systems to the prototype and will be present at the production site in Qatar when the time comes. A bit exciting with new thinking, don't you think?

Very nice exterior actually, very reminiscent of the American RVs. Inside, I don't know if I like it, but some futuristic motorhomes are not so bad.
