In April we wanted to know what kind of motorhome/camping vehicle you readers have, and we can see that many readers have a semi-integrated motorhome. A total of 120 people responded, of which 40 per cent have a semi-integrated motorhome, 27 per cent a fully integrated one and 13 per cent an alcove car (like the one we have).
Hotels, caravans and tents
But we also have readers who prefer hotels (8 per cent), have a caravan (7 per cent), tent (3 per cent), dream of a motorhome (2 per cent), have a camper van (1 per cent) or a home-built motorhome (1 per cent). For those of you who are not so familiar with the world of motorhomes, we have made a small overview of the most common types of motorhomes below...

I didn't like fully integrated motorhomes, thought it looked strange with the driver almost in the centre!
After being declared an idiot by many, we now have one!
PS
Sometimes I don't manage to get comments in with you, yesterday I tried lots of times.
This is also the case with some other blogs and I don't get it.

Good thing you included pictures, otherwise I wouldn't have understood these integrated variants.

The motorhome world, a world where I've been wandering around in total ignorance. Now I know something thanks to your educational post.

My dream is a folk bus to drive around Scotland and an occasional trip to "Europe" so to speak. That would be something...

Lennart, it's good that you tell us that you had trouble commenting. how strange! I don't know at all what it can be due to... If you insert a link in the message, WordPress may possibly think it's spam and sort it out, otherwise I don't know. I used to go through all the spam, but now I've started getting so much (hundreds of spam comments per day) that it's hard...
BP, a little educational here on Freedomtravel
😉
Steve, I suspected that these things are not obvious if you are not a "motorhome nerd"...
😉
Scottish Moments, sounds like an exciting mission! (Although I don't know how comfortable and practical it is in a people carrier?)
