This morning, we discovered a spot that overlooks the entire marina, where you can see both the houseboat and the motorhome. Here are two photos from a completely new view.
View of the Pampas marina
From the vantage point in Pampas marina you see the boat lift with the Pampas marina sign and the marina with its car park, cars, boat trailers, small houses (mostly businesses) and boats. Almost at the end of the marina you can see our houseboat, which is still mostly painted yellow.
Peter has changed some broken lights on the front of the motorhome today, and continued to scrub. I've mostly had a headache and haven't got much done, except that I've ordered a new melamine screen for the motorhome.
In this picture you can see our houseboat zoomed in. You can see that it is light grey at the bottom. This is the part we have managed to paint so far. When we take up and rebuild the houseboat, the whole boat will be painted light grey.

So that's Freedom. We looked for "him" last week, but couldn't find him.
Well-timed headache by the way, the weather was downright miserable... Hope you feel better now!

BP, Freedom was in a different place on the marina before, and is now moved again... so you never know...
😉
Alexandra, how nice to hear that you like the colour!
🙂
Lennart, yep, very practical!
🙂
Anonymous, it's cosy! Headaches are useless, but better now!

So you can't decide where to stand in the marina?
Shame about the migraine, but apparently you don't get them very often. And a misery with the pipes. Good thing you have more accommodation to choose from. The campervan is good, of course, but at least you want to live on a boat. I guess you like the challenges that come with it. There won't be much couch time in a houseboat.

No M, the houseboat has a fixed location. It is connected to water and sewage. It does happen that the marina gets the idea to move the boats around, but we don't have much power in the matter... We think we're fine where we are now! When it comes to the motorhome, it is of course possible to move it around, but if we are going to live in it, we would probably do best to make an agreement with the marina about what they think is appropriate ...
