This morning we were visited in the motorhome by Lisa from Metropol 93,8 on Swedish Radio. Metropol Morgon was about travel today, and especially about travelling a little "differently".
Feature with FREEDOMtravel
It was great to be on the radio and to share our thoughts and experiences. Do you want to hear the programme? Press "Play". The interview with us starts at 57:15.
Update: The programme is unfortunately no longer available for listening.

A nice feature of the programme which for once had an interesting theme. Nice to hear your voices. However, I think the reporter, Lisa, seemed to be ignorant/disinterested (poorly read) when it comes to motorhomes/caravans and she seemed to listen poorly, given that Peter had to repeat his sons' ages. But otherwise a good programme!

Couldn't get it up on the computer. Will try again tomorrow. Fantastic what celebrities you are. There are many companies plus now also the Swedish Radio that have opened their eyes to you. That's great. Now you should just be on TV too;-) Maybe Timell or Ernst can be a good alternative;-)

Frankie & Co says:
Hilariously worse - your voices around me in the office now!
Gone Camping would get a bit more TV time and have you involved I think after the last comment you got here 😉 .

Mr Steve says:
Being recognised in the right context is not a bad thing. It's also nice to hear from you.
The feeling is that you will eventually be travelling full-time.

The travelling dream, it didn't feel like they have much time to prepare... we were contacted the day before... But the motorhome/caravan thing was apparently difficult....
😉
BP, how strange that you didn't upload it to your computer! Haha, well we'll see where we end up next time...
😉
Steve, there is more and more travelling... in the autumn we are planning a real long trip.
🙂

A bit strange programme hosts, but fun to listen to you! I got more taste for hearing you interviewed by better reporters, so it could be really interesting, I think. 🙂

As I said, fun and interesting to hear you! Interesting programme as well!

Steel city Anna says:
Agree with the previous comments about the programme leaders, you can perhaps at least google the difference between motorhome / caravan, a bit like going to football and wondering jaha, so you do not use the racket, ok 🙂 she also seemed more interested in what you worked with than the freedom itself, feels quite typically Swedish, but it was fun to hear anyway. You can make your own pod 🙂

Marie, it's such a programme I guess... What was difficult for us was that we couldn't hear what they were saying in the studio...
ActiveDays, the travel theme is fun!
🙂
Steel city Anna, haha fun comparison with football and racket. Well, it should not be so difficult to understand the difference between a motorhome and a caravan...
😉

Henny says:
I agree that it was good to hear you, you did very well. In my opinion, it was of course a bit chatty, I mean the presenters, but at the same time it feels perhaps more relaxed and natural that way.
Lisa could also have made more of where you were with the motorhome, I think.
Looking forward to following your autumn trip via the blog.

Always fun when travel life is taken up and your website has been fun to follow.
But come on, what a comparison motorhome caravan. No way is an awning the first thing you think of for an overnight stay or two...just stop, level and crank down the support legs. It's the only thing that takes longer with a caravan.
Ev. Markiser has both caravans and motorhomes.

Robban, thank you for your comment! It wasn't always easy to answer quickly and well on the radio, especially when you weren't prepared for the questions. We realise that there can be a difference in how you use a caravan and a motorhome many times. A caravan has advantages when you want to stay a little longer in each place, but instead be free to move around with the car. And then it is perhaps more often that you choose to pick up an awning, etc. You can have an awning and support legs for a motorhome as well, but since you don't have a car to drive away with, you become more locked in if you start pulling out too much. The motorhome, on the other hand, works very well if you move around a lot and don't pack too much. Different advantages in different contexts, we think. Sorry if it got weird...
