We celebrate Midsummer with Peter's brother on Blidö in the Stockholm archipelago. They have a nice red cottage right by the water. Very idyllic and just what you want on a Midsummer's Eve. There are a total of 26 people here, and three motorhomes are parked around the site.
Champagne breakfast
Blidö is perfect for midsummer celebrations and we have been here some previous years as well. Among other things, we celebrated midsummer here 2009. This morning started with a champagne breakfast with strawberries and some extra extras like eggs, salmon, caviar and fresh bread. Then it's been full steam ahead to get started on the programme. grilling the pig. From what we have heard, it takes almost the whole day to get ready ...
BP says:
Hope the pig is happy - looks like a real delicacy. Yum!
Happy Midsummer!

Trevli midsummer! And a midsummer weekend in the archipelago is always a little extra. Good start to the day, (the same with us, but no pig barbecue) and surely the continuation will be just as good.
It will be interesting to see how it goes with the grass and the grilling/roasting of it.

Nice celebration in a beautiful archipelago environment. Certainly good with Lechonen on the spit.
