Today the houseboat has been lifted back into the water. I (Helena) thought it was so nervous that I couldn't even be at home, but luckily Peter was. Now it is back in its usual place at the jetty.
The lifting of the houseboat
In the picture below you can see what it looked like when the houseboat was lifted back into the water. Nervous! It has been rebuilt considerably, and is both higher and heavier than when we lifted it up.
Plumbing and stability test
Tomorrow the plumber will come and connect the water and sewage. On Thursday, the company Saltech will come back and do further tests when the boat is in the water, so that they can calculate the stability in their computer programme. Good to have the houseboat back in the water anyway!

Ditte says:
Congratulations! What a journey you have made! (That is, the entire renovation...) This is clearly the marina's most beautiful houseboat and which also looks like one. (Which I do not think the large Aquavillas do....).

It looked great after the renovation, but most of it is not visible on the outside of course! You should have been drinking champagne after all the work you've been doing all summer! Finally finished. Surely this stabilisation thing can't be a problem.

Ditte, thank you, that's very nice praise!
🙂
BP, it won't... but we'll make sure to check the stability even more safely tomorrow!
And BIG THANKS for all the other nice comments! In all the hard work, it has been so fun and encouraging that you wanted to "keep up" and comment! We really appreciate it!
