Not all car (or motorhome) parts last forever, unfortunately. Many times it's also about finding just the right parts! I remember once, together with a then boyfriend, getting stuck in the middle of the night on a country road in Iceland with a small broken down Japanese car we had rented in Sweden...
Petrol station open at night
Luckily, we could walk to a petrol station that was open at night and luckily the guy in the station could call his friend - who was a car mechanic! He couldn't fix the car at the time - but offered to let us spend the night in his house! The next day it turned out that it was not so easy to find spare parts for Japanese cars in the Icelandic countryside ...
Easier today
Today, however, with the help of the Internet, it is possible to find spare parts for most car brands. Click here to find spare parts for your FORD!
Did you know that the FORD car brand was founded by Henry Ford in the early 1900s? Its success was based on the fact that Henry came up with the assembly line principle, which reduced construction time. significantly, according to Wikipedia. And if you don't have a FORD, you can of course click through to find spare parts for other car brands... You can search the site easily by entering the model of your car.

Can't help but laugh a little here. Now you do not have a Ford but an Adria (well, maybe the engine is a Ford then;-)) so how do you find out if there are spare parts for example in Albania or maybe another less developed country for Freedom? Yes, I know the internet, but you can hardly click home the parts when you are travelling or?

Sure, the internet is handy, but I hope you can manage without buying spare parts!

Yes, the internet is fantastic! We went to Gdansk to buy everything for remodelling our kitchen and two bathrooms 2.5 years ago. We made quite a bit of money shopping for our ikea kitchen there even. However, we managed to score a nice toilet seat, which is a Spanish brand that we both knew from travelling. It turned out that the brand is not available in Sweden, so when we needed some small thing for the assembly, we were happy with Ebay. 🙂

BP, hehe, we have to solve that then... But the car itself is actually a Fiat, and Fiat workshops can be found here and there perhaps. The motorhome itself is, as you say, an Adria and that brand is from Slovenia.
Elisabeth, yes we hope so...!!!!
Marie, I can imagine that it was a good price to shop in Poland! But it's interesting about the toilet seat... it's at times like this that you realise that standards and such are practical!
