That the first stop on our European trip was Arboga was perhaps a bit unexpected, but we have friends there that we wanted to visit. It was a nice evening with a really good dinner. We got flambéed beef fillet, which was not only very good but also contributed with a little excitement in life.

The man of the house and I checked where we had the fire extinguisher ... but Peter and the wife of the house fixed the steak (or fillet then) without any problems. It was both a good dinner and a very pleasant evening.
Onwards to Gothenburg and Europe
Now we have left our friends and are heading to Gothenburg, where we will meet friends we got to know when we were on holiday in Sweden. Philippines. These are our two planned visits to Sweden. After that we are heading south, towards a whole year of travelling with the motorhome in Europe. This is really unreal and quite difficult to understand!

A little soft start to the journey! It is not such a long detour to go over Årjäng to Gothenburg (I think ;-)) You are of course welcome to stop here on the way too, if you are going to be away for a whole year anyway. We may not be flaming but we can get some good game! And then you drive the 172 down to Uddevalla and then the E6 to Gothenburg. A peace of cake!

Inga M, oh thank you what a nice invitation!!! We are moving on though, so unfortunately we don't have the opportunity. Have planned so that we will be out of the country before the winter tyre requirement from 1 Dec (and before it becomes winter road conditions).
