Åsa lives in Portugal with her husband Sverker and their children Frida and Jonna. On her blog Bortugal you can read about their everyday life, with school and surfing, in a small charming Portuguese village by the sea. We have had some contact online, but never met in real life, and it was great when Åsa invited us to celebrate the new year with them!
Portuguese city
We headed for the small village, located on the outskirts of Cascais, just outside Lisbon. The family's lovely house is located on a hillside with stunning views of the hills and the sea. We can really understand why they chose to live here!
New Year's dinner with green wine
We immediately found lots to talk about and were treated to a lovely New Year's Eve dinner of grilled prawns, spaghetti with mussels and Vinho Verde (Portuguese green wine). Now it looks like we will stay a few more days. Meeting blog friends in this way is one of the best things about blogging!

Yes, with blogging you get many new friends. So fun to meet live 🙂 Even on motorhome trips you meet and make new friends.
Wishing you a good rest of the year and travelling and no more problems.

ActiveDays, that's the fun part!
Maggan and Ingemar, you do make new friends on motorhome trips, and we hope to do so on campsites and pitches along the Mediterranean coast!
Marina, that is certainly one of the positive aspects of blogging!
Rolle and Carina, that's right! Thank you very much!
Ditte, thank you, we have a great time here and feel spoilt!
