Today you can read about us and our motorhome trip in Helsingborgs Dagblad - Tidningen Hallå. Very funny we think, and we hope that we can inspire others to also travel with a motorhome in Europe!
The article is unfortunately not available online, but you can of course read more about our motorhome trip in Europe here on FREEDOMtravel. See link below.
Matts Torebring says:
Hello & It's great that your trip is being recognised. We are following you from a distance. In any case, you are industrious and thrifty and, sorry, a little joke, I hope you don't take offence. I would have burned Peter's trousers myself. But I'm a 40-something and see the world from a different point of view. Carry on and have a good time.

Kanooooon article! Love it:-) Well written and that's exactly how it is when you're travelling around in a motorhome - I've understood that from you and two other motorhome blogs. Oh one thing you are absolutely right: in two charter weeks you hardly have time to explore a destination - unless you return to the same place of course.
I think you are absolutely right to take a "sabbatical".
The only surprise in the article was that you live without a phone. But I guess you Skype instead.
PS. Unlike Matts, I love Peters and your trousers. Would never wear them at home, but definitely on holiday. Also, I like Peter's old hairstyle without the "flowerpot". DS.

What fun! Glad that you get noticed and can spread both travel tips and your experiences further. Have just read the article and with great benefit.
Take care and I'll join you. Very much so, too.

Matts, haha, no offence taken. The advantage of buying worn-out jeans is that you don't have to worry about them breaking...
😉
BP, well, so far we haven't actually spoken to anyone by phone or Skype. The relatives have got used to the fact that it is the internet that counts. However, we usually reach them quickly by email or blog!
Ditte, it's so much fun to have you on board!!!
🙂

Nice article! You "left the apartment" is more impactful and gives people more recognition potential than that you exchanged the boat for the motorhome, I guess. 🙂

Mr Steve says:

😉

Great article, and fun that you can be involved and inspire! And nice jeans 😉 I myself love worn jeans, I did it already when I was in my teens but then you had to "wear them out yourself". Or rub them with sandpaper. Nowadays, the most worn jeans are the most expensive. A family member was in my youth worried that I would not get a job because of the worn jeans ... But it has gone well with that thing you can say ... 🙂 And worn jeans I still use ...

Henny says:
Very good article about your trip, but hasn't the reporter got something wrong: "Converted caravan"? Is that really true?
"Peter and Helena Bergström themselves have converted their Freedom caravan, an Adria alcove car, 7.30 metres long"
17 April 2015 - 12:42
admin says:
Henny, that was observant of you! I don't think the reporter understands that there is a difference between a caravan and a motorhome. We have fixed a lot of things with the motorhome, redecorated it, etc. But of course it has never been a caravan
😉
