Last night we arrived in Porto, located in the bay of Golfe de Porto, on the west coast of Corsica. Driving along the west coast of Corsica is incredibly beautiful and when we arrived at the campsite in Porto, it didn't get any worse.
Porto in Corsica
The area around Porto is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its fauna and flora. The city has a large Genoese watchtower, and there are many different boat trips from the harbour. This is a truly beautiful and exciting place!
Camping Solo e Vista
We went to a campsite called Sole e Vista. It was very hilly and steep, but they had a nice pool with great views of the mountains, where we relaxed after the dramatic drive.
A little French girl amused herself by repeatedly lifting a large (but light) toy boat into the pool and shouting "Mama look! Papa look! Je suis Pippi Langstrump!". ("Mum look! Dad look! I'm Pippi Longstocking!") It's great to hear that the French children are familiar with Swedish literature 🙂.

Corsica's nature is amazing!
Enjoying your pictures. I can imagine that it was
hilly and winding to get up there.
But you got your money's worth, I must say.
Good continuation - because I want to follow. 🙂
