Now Peter has made a film with pictures from Corsica and Sardinia! When we think back on the whole trip (8 months in France, Portugal, Spain and Italy) we have to say that Corsica and Sardinia are the ones that stand out as the most amazing. Wow, what islands!
Inspiration for two beautiful islands
Corsica had so much more wild and untamed nature than we could have imagined. Sardinia was more built up, but between the buildings were all these amazing beaches and rock formations. And on both islands this turquoise clear water! Take a look at the film if you want some inspiration for Corsica and Sardinia.
If you have been following us for a while, you know that Peter likes to make films with pictures from our travels from time to time. He makes them in iPhoto on his Mac and the films become a fun memory when you get home.

Lovely pictures, why do we go to Thailand when it is just as nice "at home" in Europe. You do not long for home even though you have been away for so long 😉.

Anders and Birgitta, yes or not? Several times in Corsica and Sardinia we thought, "Wow, is this in Europe!?". And no, we are not longing for home 😉.

Hello!
Great to find this!
We did Sardinia-Corsica in a motorhome with our three children for 5 weeks last summer, during the hottest summer in the area in 150 years. Can only agree that it was awesome! The area around Propriano canon and the campsite U Libbeciu incredibly nice. In Sardinia we did the north and east side. Favourites Cala Luna and Berchidda.
Sitting now and planning for next summer when we probably start in Corsica (going Nice-Ajaccio) and then we take the west and south coast of Sardinia. Fun to read about your best tips
