Beach visits and laundry
Yesterday we had time to visit the beach - and to do laundry! Finding good washing machines on campsites is really a scourge and we do not know how many times we have washed, only to pick out equally dirty laundry from the machine after the programme is finished ...
A washing machine (including drying) costs 65 kr at camping Solitudo. Not very cheap, but even the whites were clean! With clean clothes in the closets, we roll further north today, with our sights set on the island. Where.

Close to Dubrovnik
Camping Solitudo in Dubrovnik is certainly an expensive campsite, but it's easy to get between this campsite and the city centre. The campsite is also fresh and good and if you only plan to stay here for a few days, it's definitely worth it.

It was a bit much money to stay overnight. But if there is service to choose from then ok. It has been interesting to follow you on the journey here. Wishing you a good journey

Interesting about Dubrovnic. Never been there.
The campsite sounds expensive, though, to me. But good, of course.

It's been a while since I visited you and checked your itinerary. Probably have to catch up with me a bit.

The beach looked inviting.
Enjoy the rest of your journey.

Looks nice there, but then it usually costs too! 🙂
Have fun and enjoy.......:-)

Deciree says:
It was certainly not very cheap. And if you are on a long trip like you are, then you do not want to waste money on unnecessary things, I can imagine. But what choice do you have if you do not have anything else to choose instead. Then it is exciting to hear how you found all the places:) is it your own choice or tips on the road? You find so many nice places:)

Dubrovnik and its surroundings are a bit of a tourist trap!
Great prices!

Ditte says:
Certainly Dubrovnik has changed since I was there. But I guess the old part of the city still has its beauty. Nice to read what you think of Hvar when you get there. Have only been there for a few days on a boat trip.
Admittedly, the price per night was high, but on the other hand you have to pay for comfort and sometimes it's worth it.

BP says:
Like the campsite and what do you get for 400 kronor really in Sweden if you think about it. Two beers and two wines if you are lucky... So you made a good deal.
It will be interesting to read what you think about Hvar. I have been to a training camp there and got the world's best food:-)

Mr Lars Permelin says:
It seems to be high class on that campsite, also seems to be orderly and tidy.

Steve, we actually think it's expensive. But we had to do it this time, because we wanted to see Dubrovnik and it was the easiest way.
Nils-Åke, we also think it is expensive, but with the location in the centre of Dubrovnik they can charge such prices...
Lena in Wales, it's expensive, but with a central location in a city like Dubrovnik, you can of course charge...
Rantamor, when you're visiting Dubrovnik, this campsite is definitely a handy place to stay. And the beach is nice!
Rolle and Carina, yes, and with such a central location in a popular city...
Deciree, we find these places in many different ways (has been different in different countries too): ACSI camping catalogue, CamperContact app, Boratlas, Motorhome Club, roadside signs and tips from others we meet along the way...
Lennart, yes we found most things quite expensive in Dubrovnik.
Ditte, Dubrovnik is still a very beautiful city, even if it is very touristy. We will return about Hvar! 🙂
BP, it's true about the prices! At the same time, we don't have the budget for such expensive accommodation during such a long trip... but two days is fine! It was an easy way to visit Dubrovnik!
Lars Permelin, yes it was tidy and good (without being fantastic), actually too expensive in relation to the campsite itself, but they have a great location so close to Dubrovnik!
