Our plans in Split
In ten days we will have visitors here in Split. Soooo much fun! We have looked at several different exciting excursions and tours that we want to do then. Among other things, we want to visit the city Trogir and Krka National Park, which is supposed to be fantastic.
Until then, we plan to familiarise ourselves with the city of Split, do some shopping and... exercise! We will also visit the ancient city of Split, created by Emperor Diocletian in 200 AD with sights such as Diocletian's Palace and the Cathedral. All the street restaurants, cobblestone alleys, ruins and much more.
As you may recall, we did a lot of training in our centre. training tent last spring. Then summer came - with 35 degree heat - and we gave up. And then we've been sick, and it's been too windy to put up the tent ... but now it's finally time!

Fun with visits! 🙂
And how nice the campsite looks! When there are so many "services", the campsite itself is often quite boring (in my experience). But that winding path and greenery - it looks very cosy! 🙂

Now that's what I call well-equipped camping. A visit in 10 days sounds fun. It might be nice to have a longer stop once in a while.

Seems to be a perfect place to stay for a long time. It is a must sometimes, otherwise you get tired of constantly changing overnight locations... We are now doing a major cleaning and review of small repairs of our Liberty before the last European trip for our part with it. Not exactly looking forward to driving in an autumnal France and Germany with closed campsites but now it is once again. It feels very sad actually, it is so nice and in such good condition and we have such fantastic memories of everything we have done and seen with it. But as I said, everything has its time and since we are reluctant to fly, it will be back to travelling by regular car instead. Have a great time and what luck that the migraine seems to have passed?

Ama de casa, I can agree with you, but this campsite is green and nice even though there are all kinds of things here. And it's quiet and peaceful, no shows or loud children's activities 😉 (Almost no children at all this time of year!).
Steve, yes visits will be fun! And it's nice to stop for a while sometimes.
Monica, hope you have a good trip home with Liberty! Some campsites are open all year round? But I guess you have to check which ones in advance. Otherwise, we felt that there were many good automatic pitches in France. Thank you, the migraine has passed for this time.

We have also stayed here, but at the end of April and then we were not completely alone, but almost. We also fell in love with the nice campsite with good bus connection to Split, also experienced the staff at the campsite as very service-oriented. Have a good time and enjoy your stay.
