We can recommend a great restaurant on Brac - experience really good lamb at Kopacina! Restaurant Kopacina is located in Donji Humac in the centre of the island of Brac, which in turn is located in the Dalmatian archipelago in Croatia.
You can get to the restaurant by car or by public transport from, for example. Supetar or sphere. If you are on Brac - don't miss out on experiencing locally produced lamb at Kopacina!
Good restaurant in brac
Restaurant Kopacina is famous for its lamb and we found five different lamb dishes on the menu. All the lamb served at the restaurant is local to the island. When we drove around yesterday, we saw lots of sheep running freely in the forests, so we guess that the sheep and lambs are doing well here, and maybe that contributes to the good flavour. If you don't like lamb, there are of course other dishes on the menu, both fish and other meat dishes.

Good lamb at Kopacina
We each started with a mushroom soup. Then it was lamb on skewers with potatoes "island style" and grilled vegetables. Yep, we have to say that the lamb was fantastically tender and delicious! The potatoes were grilled in halves (with spices and butter) with the skin on. Soooo good!
All in all, together with four large beers and one cappuccino each, the bill came to 450 SEK. And we were full! For "dinner" in the evening there was wine, olive and peanuts ...

Local public transport
You can take the bus here from both Bol and Supetar and it's a short walk from the bus stop. Ask the bus driver which way to go and it's no problem, and it was a really cosy dining experience.
We rented a car for one day and we took the cheapest one which cost 500 SEK for one day. We took the opportunity to shop at Lidl which is close to Supetar. A little sense of freedom to rent a car and to get around to all the sights and small villages around the island in peace and quiet.

Shefik, it has not been very easy to find good food in Croatia, but this tasted really good! 🙂
BP, it was a big portion but maybe not as big as it looks. There was a lot of bone and fat on the meat pieces, so not so not so much meat on each piece 😉.
Steel city Anna, we took our time eating! But as I said, not a lot of meat on each piece. But we were still stuffed 😉 .

Yummie, yummie! What a huge portion! At least one doggy bag had to come home to Freedom or did you manage to eat it all?!
Great that you liked the food, which looks really delicious. Love lamb:-)

Elisabeth, yes, it is fantastic to be able to sit outside. Incredibly nice weather! Around 21-22 degrees and brilliant sun during the day. 🙂

Looks incredibly nice in the Sun and on Local!
I have never tried lamb 🙂
Take care and enjoy......

Steve, yes it was not possible to get a whole dinner down after that, haha. Nice that you have a stove to warm yourself with!
Rolle and Carina, you have something to look forward to! We think lamb is the most delicious meat. Often tender and with a little more flavour than beef.
31 October 2015 - 15:40
Mr Steve says:
Wow, it looks so delicious. I understand that you had a lighter "dinner" after that meal.
And out in the sun you could sit. Here we will soon light a fire in the stove.

Ditte says:
How good it looked! And here I would also have tried lamb. Really! But still a rather high price I think....But I have understood that Croatia has become expensive. However, it is half the price almost compared to Sweden.
But eating well is important...
Understand that there was some lighter food for the evening.
31 October 2015 - 21:35
admin says:
Åsa, you often notice things that I hadn't thought of 😉.
Lennart, I can imagine that there are really good lambs on Öland!
Frankie & Co, yes we are really lucky with the weather! Do not always think that it is this hot in Croatia at the end of November... But you manage to warm yourselves too! 🙂
Ditte, Croatia is not super cheap, but it was probably much cheaper than Sweden anyway. A starter soup for SEK 23 would not be available in Sweden 😉 We rarely go out to eat, so it feels more worth it if it is really good!

Ama de casa, it was hearty (even if there were big bones in the meat pieces). Yes, usually we eat powdered soup, noodles, salad or sandwiches for lunch... 😉.
