Yesterday we drove from Germany to Skåne. We started at 10 o'clock from Lübeck yesterday and arrived in Skåne only when it got dark. After doing some shopping at the huge Border shop in Puttgarden, we took the ferry Puttgarden-Rödby, drove across Denmark and took the ferry Helsingör-Helsingborg.
Friends and Swedish prawns
I Helsingborg we managed to get new SIM cards for our phones and then it wasn't too far to drive to our friends Anders and Anita, just outside the city centre. Ängelholm. They should have visited us in Croatiabut as you may recall, the visit was cancelled because Anita had a cycling accident.
It was great to see you again! And what do you think we were offered? Well, Swedish prawns that we have been longing for so much!

Steve, thank you so much! The shrimp sat nicely! 🙂

Welcome home! There is nothing that beats Swedish seafood, and it is usually the first thing we buy when we have been away from dear Svedala for a while! This year it was the magical shrimp sandwich at Idas in Lundåkrahamnen in Landskrona that had to satisfy the desire!!! It is recommended? It will be fun to read what you are going on for trips now in the future, and one thing I thought of, the blog has probably never been better than now?, roll calmly now / Anette

Must feel strange to now be on Swedish soil after a year in Europe 🙂 But you quickly get into the old habits. Of course, Swedish shrimp is something special and we usually get it when we land in Helsingborg with the relatives. I probably miss more the Swedish magazines such as Hemmets Veckotidn, Hemmets Journal, Allas etc. regret that I did not buy any with me. It went up quickly through Germany 🙂
Now we look forward to the next trip either by plane or by motorhome. And of course it is nice to be on Swedish soil again and to speak Swedish 🙂.
Enjoy!

Anna, New York, thank you very much!
Lennart, thank you! Right now it has snowed in Skåne, hope it will be better tomorrow!
Ditte, thank you so much! Yes, shrimps do not taste the same in southern Europe, so we have been longing for Swedish shrimps!
Active Days-Camilla, thank you!
Maggan and Ingemar, yes, it does feel a bit strange to be in Sweden now, even though we hardly know how it feels 😉 We made a bunch of stops in Germany, but now it's getting colder, and we also have to go home and check our water-damaged storage!
JoY, thank you very much!
Marie, yes it's a big step it feels like, a new chapter that hopefully will be interesting too! 🙂
