The night before last there was an opening of the Taracci store, which sells stylish menswear in Stockholm and has just moved to the MOOD Stockholm mall. Peter's son Robin works in this store so we were of course there to drink bubbly, mingle and look at the latest collections.
Wow, what great menswear! We can highly recommend a visit here if you are in Stockholm and looking for new clothes, or maybe a Christmas present for your husband, boyfriend, father or brother.
Menswear at Taracci
Feyo Taracci is a clothing designer who started the clothing label. Taracci year 2000. The clothes are sewn using high quality materials and Feyo designs all the garments himself. In the shop you will find mainly shirts, but also jeans, sweaters, vests, jackets, outerwear, shoes, belts, cufflinks and more. The design is stylish, but often with an extra creative touch and some exciting details.
Most garments are only sewn in around 10 copies, so when you buy a garment at Taracci you can be sure not to meet lots of other people with the exact same shirt/jacket. Won't it be expensive? Because of the high quality and unique design, the prices are of course higher than the big discount chains, but at the same time they are actually lower than most of the more exclusive men's stores.
Opening of MOOD Stockholm
Taracci has now for the first time moved into a shopping centre and can be found at MOOD Stockholm on Regeringsgatan 48 in Stockholm (behind NK), where you of course also find a lot of other stores. At the opening the day before yesterday there was bubbly, music and mingling while you could buy clothes at a discounted price.
There are actually only two Taracci shops in the whole world! One is in Stockholm and the other is run by Feyo's brother in Brussels, Belgium. Feel free to drop by the shop in Stockholm one day and check out the clothes and say hello to Feyo or Robin! If you're not usually in Stockholm, you can also shop in the webshop.
Did we do any shopping? Yep, a shirt in a nice blue colour came home with us...
Update: The Taracci store has moved since this post was written, and is now located on Gamla Brogatan in Stockholm.

You bring back memories with your posts. Wow, that makes me hungry. Taracci looks like a store where I would have liked to hang on the lock. I used to be very interested in clothes before my stroke. Now I can't wear "real" clothes or shoes.
I was interested in clothes from an early age and in my youth in Sollefteå I had a favourite shop in Sundsvall (Henrix) where I shopped when I wanted something out of the ordinary. During my 25 years in Uppsala, I usually shopped for clothes at Bergman's menswear store and when I moved to Örebro I found a favourite store that I have forgotten the name of. That shop was a bit Taraccistuk, if I may say so.
In later years I used to buy shoes in Copenhagen, which became D's and my favourite city in the 90's. (http://stevereflekterar.blogspot.se/2015/07/minnen-vacks-till-liv.html )
As you can see from the length of my comment, it brings back happy memories.

Fun with mingling - although my interest in clothing is not that high up. I'd rather spend the money on other things and patch and repair until I can't anymore... 😉.

It's perfect that Peter's son works in the store:-) You've written about that brand before and it's Peter's favourite brand, isn't it!!!?
You get what you pay for and I can safely say that I and/or my husband have never gone in, let alone bought any garment at Dressman and H&M.
Love the Mood mall for its cool selection of "different" shops and all the food outlets, including the tapas restaurant Boqueria.

Steve, it's great to hear about your interest in clothes and it's wonderful to hear that we could bring back positive memories! 🙂
BP, yes it is true that Taracci is Peter's favourite brand! It started with Peter and Robin buying a lot of clothes there. They talked a lot with Feyo and then Robin got a job! 🙂 Glad you like Mood Gallerian, I also like the bouqerian!
Ama de casa, haha, you're not exactly known for your interest in clothes 😉.

Nice! And that the shop is now in Moodgallerian is great!
Of course I will look in here. Mood also has several good restaurants, including the tapas restaurant Bouqueria and a couple of good sushi places and it's nice to combine food with some shopping. And when it comes to prices, it is usually the case that you get what you pay for.

Ditte, I also think it feels good with the Mood gallery! I have never eaten at Bouqerian, but it looks good and nice when you walk by!
