Travel Massive at the Theatre in Skanstull

Yesterday we were at a Travel Massive event that was arranged at Teatern in the centre of the Ring in Skanstull in Stockholm. Travel Massive always offers an opportunity to meet other travel bloggers and Teatern - the south's new food scene - we have heard a lot about, so it was interesting!

What is Travel Massive?

Travel Massive is a global movement that brings together travel bloggers and people from the travel industry through free events organised all over the world. There are currently 121 local chapters in the world and yesterday it was time for an event in the Stockholm local chapter, led by Sofia from Fantasy travel, Lola from Geotraveler's niche and Annika from the blog Travel Friday.

Many travel bloggers on site

At yesterday's event, lots of people showed up - both travel bloggers we know and people we've never met before. I can't account for everyone who was there, but it was a little extra fun to meet Katta from Cat's reflections. I have been following her blog for seven years, but never met her before. Fantastic fun!

It was also nice to have a chat with Eva from People in the street, Anna from New York - My Bite of the Big Apple, Towe from Towis - A travel blog, Daniel from Traveler's edition, Lisa from Life from the bright side, Helena from Oh Darling, let's be adventurers and Johan from Australia blog. Great fun!

Many of these travel bloggers we have contact with from time to time, but meeting like this is special! We also met young couple Jacob and Frida, who are planning to travel around the world for 2.5 years by car! They are leaving just before the summer, and you can follow them at Everyday Explorers.

Theatre in the centre of the Ring in Skanstull

The new trendy food scene in the centre of Ringen is a kind of food court where several famous chefs have opened small branches and serve various small exciting dishes in an easily accessible way. You simply get your small dish in paper or a simple bowl and sit down at one of the small tables in what almost feels like a theatre stand.

I like the idea - fine food served in an "ugly" way. However, I was not very impressed with the food. Maybe I thought it was a bit for or maybe I just didn't like getting my fingers so sticky. But I can probably imagine another visit, I've heard that the ramen noodle dish here is awesome! Have you been to the Theatre in the Centre of the Ring? What do you think?
