Rewa is located on the Polish coast, not far from the larger city of Gdynia. This is a real swimming and surfing paradise with a long narrow strip of sand stretching out into the sea and a great holiday atmosphere.

Rewa in Poland
Rewa is a small Polish village by the sea, which attracts tourists in summer because of its fine sandy beaches and excellent conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing.
Rewa is located on the Polish Baltic Sea coast, 15 kilometres north of Gdynia.
Swimming and surfing beach in Rewa
The sandy beach in Rewa extends straight into the sea like a long narrow tongue. This place is perfect for kite surfers and you can see plenty of them on both sides of the beach. Sometimes you can even see them taking off and surfing. over the narrow headland.
Another thing that tells you how popular the resort is for surfers is all the surf shops and surf schools. You almost stumble upon surfboards and surf school signs while walking around the small streets.
For those who do not want to surf, it is of course possible to just enjoy the sun and swimming at the long fine sandy beaches. There are plenty of families with children and, as is often the case in Poland, there are plenty of different amusements for children, such as bouncy castles and small carousels.
A popular holiday destination
Despite being a very small village, Rewa comes alive in the summer. On a sunny day, the village has a lovely holiday feel with small cosy restaurants, ice cream parlours with long queues and a small fun park for children.
Nature conservation area
Right next to the village of Rewa, along the coast, are marshes that attract many wetland birds and insects. The natural area consists of tall grass, small bushes and lots of wild flowers in different colours. The area is protected both for bird life and for protected plants.
Where can you stay or park your motorhome?
We have never stayed overnight in Rewa, but there is a campsite called Noclegi "Kotwica", which has a central location. There are also several different hotels, such as Skipper Hotel and Willa Aster.
More to see and do in the neighbourhood
Within walking distance of Rewa is the cosy resort of Mechelinki. From Rewa, it is also not far to the fantastic The entire peninsula, which offers long beaches of chalk-white sand.
You can also choose to visit the popular tri-city area with the cities of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot or the historical Malbork Castle. You can find even more destinations in Poland by clicking on the image below.

Could be Pite Havsbad! (no, I'm just kidding) But we have a fantastic summer weather right now, enjoying the heat by the sea. Hoping for something cooler during Nolia.
27 July 2016 - 9:22
Ditte says:
It looks great! And fun to see all the kite surfers. Maybe there will be a test trip for you.
But I guess the sea isn't really warm because there weren't that many bathers just now. (And I prefer +25 before I swim....).
Wishing you continued good days here in Poland.

Aila, it's beautiful! And there are several nice cities too, I will show you soon!
Ama de casa, yep it's hot!!!
Katta, Poland has a lot to offer! We will show even more 🙂
Henny, Pite Havsbad is nice (although it was very cold the summer we were there). But I understand that you have hot now. Let's see how it will be during Nolia!
Ditte, I think the guys want to spend time on the catamaran, but the kite surfing looks fun! It's probably around 22 degrees in the water maybe. There are many people swimming, but this was very late in the afternoon.

Jenn - forever abroad says:
Haha, laughing at Henny's comment - Piteå havsbad is actually very very nice and almost exotic for northern Sweden 😉.
Maybe this is where I should go with Mumin who just learnt to surf in Santa Cruz...? I wonder what the weather is like on a weekend at the end of September... Is it still possible to swim and surf?

Jenn, I can't answer about the temperature in Piteå. The water can sometimes hold the temperature for a while, but maybe the air gets cooler in September?
Eva, thank you, it's very nice and we will soon show some other places as well 😉.
Lennart, there are a lot of cosy places in Poland!

Have heard about Rewa. A colleague of mine loves to go there for the day. Oh yes, Poland has fantastic and clean beaches. As nice as the Mediterranean actually. But there is warmer of course.

Oh yeah, I can probably answer about the temperature in Piteå (hehe since I'm from Gällivare) - I meant of course Rewa in Poland, but maybe you don't happen to know that either? 😉

admin says:
JoY, really great! 🙂
BP, agree with you, the beaches here are just as nice. Now that it's hot, I'd almost rather be here than at the Mediterranean, but the problem is of course that it's not as sunny here. If you are unlucky, the weather can be bad... like in Sweden...
Criss-cross, and yet there are quite a few ice-cream parlours 😉.
Lina, Poland is worth a visit, especially the coast! In addition, the price situation is good 😉
Matts, thank you, yes we are fine!
Jenn, oh sorry, I probably read a bit carelessly haha 😉 I asked our friends who have an apartment here and they say it's probably a bit of luck/bad luck. If August was warm, it can still be nice in September. But there are no guarantees...

Renate's travels says:
Great place! I've basically never thought of Poland as a swimming destination (maybe because the only time I've visited the country was in the middle of winter in snow and freezing temperatures, hehe), but it looks like I might have to reconsider that. 🙂
28 July 2016 - 0:11
admin says:
Mia's Mix, Poland's coastline is beautiful! Glad to hear that you like our pictures! 🙂
Renate, Poland is a great (and affordable!) swimming destination. However, there is no guarantee for the weather. If it's nice, it's great, but you can also be unlucky and get rain and lower temperatures.

Steel city anna says:
Looks nice. Sweden has many similarities with Poland, both in terms of nature and culture. If I say to a Polish person here in the UK that I miss the sea even though I live on an island, they know exactly what I mean, an ordinary beach by the forest and meadows, without donkeys and stuff 🙂 the british seaside is one of a kind 🙂.

Jenn, thanks for the tip! I will check out that plugin when I have time. May test how it turns out simply ...
Steel City Anna, it may be true that we have some similarities in that way!
