Ok, here we go! Peter at the controls! Damn what young people have fitness or is it mine that is lacking, haha. What young people don't realise is that I do more in less time because I know my job than flying around like a new Spiderman in glasses who will fix the whole world in one day.
My best friends
My oldest son Robin and I started our company many years ago but Helena and I run it today. Father and son enjoy being together and when the time is right we are happy to do so. He is one of the very best friends in my life and we have great fun together.
Lennart and I have known each other for a long time, and he is also the kind of person who is just right, a dead mate who is wrong and flawed in the right way. He is the archetype of old Swedish tradition and takes me as I am, and that is why I had to stand as a girl with bling bling in my ears and lots of special clothes as he says... because I don't shop at Dressman, haha.
To Poland again
Lennart and his Swedish-Polish wife have invited us down to their place in Poland outside the Gdansk a week in Mechelinki if we pay for the flight tickets ourselves. They know that we are investing in a new career (the blog) and that we don't have very good finances, so quickly go to Ryanair and book. 425 SEK round trip per person, done and done ... On 24 July we go to Poland for a week for the 7th time.
Feel free to write about your lovely friends on "Happy Friday".

The group Camping Les Castels in France (38 people) has become our French friends, it feels like. Always the best treatment wherever we go. We have visited a total of fifteen. Thanks to one of these campsites, we came back to the "cradle of time" yesterday. See and experience it for yourself in real life, read more on my blog. https://mattstorebring.se/2016/07/01/caverne-grotte-36-000-ar/

Mr Steve says:
It's great to have "real" friends. The ones you usually don't have so many of. If you only have a few, you're lucky.
Cool to sail a catamaran this summer. I remember when you wrote about driving the catamaran down to Poland and having a whiskey and cigar after the sailing trip. Maybe it can be like that again.
Nowadays, when I can't wear fashionable clothes, I also shop at Dressman. Not so elegant, but usually practical.

You are amazingly similar - you and your son. It's nice to have children as best friends. Mirren - the youngest daughter - is mine. It's nice to come to Poland with you on your trip. I haven't been there since the early 60's when my student husband and I hitchhiked down to Prague.

Ama de casa says:
Real friends are worth their weight in gold! Now we have changed our circle of friends a bit since we moved here to Spain. Of course, the old ones are still there, but we do not meet as often as before, of course. But it is wonderful with new friends as well 🙂
425 bucks? Sounded a bit expensive... 😉 Haha! No, it's crazy how cheap it is to fly nowadays. I do not understand at all that it goes together for the airlines. And it does not make it for everyone either ...
Have a great trip to your mates in Poland! 😀

Goatfish says:
Real friends are gold 😀 But sometimes life takes different turns.
I also have the children (all four) as best friends. We can have a lot of fun together, and there are grandchildren as well.
Oh, how nice to go to Poland again for you, a country I have never been to.
Happy Friday! And I go to one of the children today! 😀

Fun with Poland. Yes it is good that Ryanair has its cheap tickets there, it makes it much easier to travel there more often.

Lennart: Thank you, it will be fun to sail again.
Mats Torebring: I can really understand you because the happiest and most well-behaved people during our European tour were from France. I will go and read your link.
Petra: Thank you and happy holidays Petra.
Steve: Good idea there Steve with whiskey and cigar, we should not forget that. I think that real friends are never many and just as you write, you are lucky if you even find someone who stays for life. I understand everyone who shops at Dressman because they have nice clothes at the right prices, but I'm always looking for something more special and unique and I've been that way all my life.
Musikanta. Hi Ingrid! Poland has a lot to offer and it is cheap. Unfortunately, it is located so high up so the weather can cause a lot and can be a little up and down if it is bad. Going down to their big market in Gdansk in July / August is very nice and if the weather is good then Soppot and the big beach are right next door. Surely it is wonderful to have a super contact with your children even when they get older. One of the things that makes life cosy.
Ama de casa: We will have a lot of fun with our friends in Poland and there will also be a lot of sailing. Real friends are worth their weight in gold that give and take and there are not so many of that kind that follow year after year. The prices are totally crazy and for SEK 425 I do not even come to Gothenburg, so long live low-cost flights, haha.
Geddfish: Hi Gerd, and what a fun weekend you are having and enjoying everything every hour.
Comsi comsa: Thank you and many hugs back and a nice weekend.
Fantasy dining: It feels like a winning lottery ticket when you book. If we had taken the trip a little earlier that we now could not, we would have gone to the pole for 45 kronor and home for 79 kronor. That it is even possible. Nice weekend.

åsa in åsele says:
Crazy cheap, it costs about the same as a round trip by bus from Åsele to Umeå, about 40 kilometres.

Ditte says:
Good friends are clearly very important!
There are many acquaintances, but good friends, who you can call at any time of the day or night if you need them, are something else entirely.
My friends are very important to me, including of course my husband and daughters.
Nice to have a trip to Poland and with Ryan you can often find good ticket prices. A definite advantage!

Eva - People in the Street says:
Yes, it is great to have good friends! They enrich life 🙂
Not a bad price you found for plane tickets! Sometimes I worry that I live so far north and need to pay for the trip between Luleå and Stockholm when we are travelling. It can be more expensive than the actual international ticket sometimes.
Have a nice weekend 🙂

Good friends are to be cherished. I can say without a doubt that my husband is actually my best friend. After 36 years we still have so much fun. Quite an oddity actually!
As for Dressman, I can safely say that the chain should be banned. I think the clothes are neither stylish nor nice. In addition, they have zero fit left after the first wash, if they ever had one. Many of my colleagues bought clothes there - yuck!
Lovely with Poland again. Love Poland too!

Åsa in Åsele: We are lucky to live in Stockholm and have access to Ryanair's low prices. If you only travel a maximum of 4 hours, you can take bad seats and cramped planes for so little money. Have a nice weekend and thank you for writing.
Lovisa: Of course you are right so now it's time for more training, haha. Nice weekend.
Hi Ditte: It really is a parachute to have some good friends in your neighbourhood and of course Helena is one of them. I praise low cost airlines that fly, more of that please... Have a nice week Ditte.
Eva-people in the street: Hi Eva! I understand you and I hope that Ryanair can develop their routes and more of it is needed. If they can, so can others. Have a nice week and I hope to see you again soon.
Petra: Haha! Glad you liked our photo because my son and I had a good laugh when we took it. Nice weekend and week.
Rolle and Carina: We recognise ourselves because we have also made so many new friends with our motorhome and you are welcome everywhere, absolutely wonderful. Thank you for writing and have a nice weekend.
Lars Permeln: I like that analogy because it's much the same with Lennart and me. We can go six months without hearing from each other and when we meet, it's like yesterday. I wish you a good week Lars.
Discovering the planet: Thank you and greet the man of the house.
BP: Haha! Straight pucks. I don't know how the quality is because I've never bought clothes at Dressman but I can understand people who do, and who need a lot of changes for the right money.
Helena is my wife, my mistress and my best friend and you have been for 36 years and that's awesome. The golden ball for you. Have a nice week BP.
Asa: You have quite a few friends in the blog world so don't be so damn shy. I would miss my friends if I moved from Sweden but there is a wave that says what is worth and what is not. We have no barriers so we will see what happens in the future. Say hello to the family and have a nice week.
Jessica Meijer: Hi Jessica! I feel good now after some problems with a back injury a few months back but that's life, back on track.
My oldest son I can never explain away and we are really best friends and we started the company together 10 years ago. We enjoy working together and in our new jobs we hope we can create something more new together.
Thanks for all the nice words and lots of hugs back and I wish you a great week.
