Niesmann-Bischoff presents a new motorhome in the premium compact class, giving the Arto and Flair a little brother. This new model should give the same feel as its big brothers, but perhaps be a little easier to drive in narrow alleys ...
Why "Smove"?
When Niesmann-Bischoff present their new Smove motorhome model, they are clearly proud. They describe a model that is semi-integrated but feels like a liner. They envisage customers who want the luxury of the Arto and Flair, but also want to be a little more agile in traffic. The name of the model is a combination of "smart" and "move".
What is "Smove"?
Smove has an innovative exterior design and shows its family affiliation through its integrated design. Some things that can be emphasised:
- Panoramic windows - with optional electrically operated sliding roof - that let in lots of light and air.
- Standing height of 198 centimetres at the entrance, in the kitchen and back to the sleeping area.
- Swivelling corner washbasin and pull-out toilet, which disappears completely into the wall if necessary, creating the largest shower space in this type of motorhome.
- Large garage with plenty of space for electric bike, surfboard and golf bag, and a practical space-saving sliding door is available as an option.
- The fresh water capacity is 140 litres, with the option of an additional 60-litre tank, and the waste water tank holds 120 litres. The two 11-kilo LPG cylinders can be supplemented with an optional 50-litre fixed LPG tank.
Two lengths - four floor plans
The new Smove, which has a total weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, will be available for delivery from March 2017. The programme includes four floor plans - two with conventional seating and two with bar seating. Furthermore, in addition to the 7.4 metre long models, Niesmann+Bischoff also offers two models that are half a metre shorter.
Matts Torebring says:
It's great to see innovation and new ways of thinking.
I usually smile to myself when I go to Elmia Husbil and hear the comments from the visitors. "But, what a nice bar cabinet, I want this car". I start in the garage, look at the loading areas, then check the floor plan. If all this is good, I go into the car and have a look. The last thing that decides then, is how far I would get to service and finally the price.

Premium compact class, semi-integrated, integrated design, innovative exterior design, etc. The motorhome world even has its own language, I see.
Smove looks pretty cool there in the bridge photo.

First image - a feeling of walking on water - with the mountains in the background.
Very lyrical!
Looking at the bathroom. Welcoming a subtlety. That the toilet can be pushed away to make the shower space bigger. These are the kind of practical things we were looking at.
Always fun to keep up with the news, while I sunbathe on the balcony 😀.
Hugs!

Matts, haha, yes, it is a bit funny that you sometimes choose a motorhome based on some interior detail (which may be easy to change) instead of based on major and important factors. I think it's because you often make choices based on something emotional (for better or worse).
Steve, haha, yes, that's probably the case 😉.
Ama de casa, I used the phrase "crowded alleys" a bit in your favour, haha... 😉 .
Diana's dreams, I also think it looks nice and luxurious 🙂 .
Geddfish, I liked that picture too! Always great when you can experience nature with the motorhome in that way! The thing with the toilet was interesting, would be interesting to see it in real life too.

BP says:
When I see Smove, I can't help but think of the mini-car called Smart and what the motorhome looks like - like Smart's big brother.
The headroom is great considering that my husband is 1.95 metres tall, but I think the car is quite wide and big anyway....

Cattis says:
Oh, there are so many interesting things on the market and we can't decide whether to get a motorhome or not. The Smove did not look stupid at all!:)
sv: Yes, it will be a blissful mix of different activities...hope for lovely weather so they can see lots of nice Swedish nature!:)

BP, it's not a very small motorhome, but considering that Niesmann+Bischoff previously manufactured quite large motorhomes, it's a bit smaller... 😉.
Kattis, motorhomes are great! It's not easy to know what you like though. One idea might be to try renting one first!
Amanda, you too!

What a nice picture of a nice motorhome, it would suit us perfectly! 🙂
Just watched it on Youtube, it's delicious!
And what a clever solution in the toilet room, thumbs up!
Have fun and dream....

Across the board says:
Maybe, maybe not. Those who are 7.40 long will not have so much load capacity left and that is something that is important. Maybe the shorter variant can be interesting - but then you have to compromise on something else instead 🙂 .

You who have a motorhome probably have the same/similar problems as us with a boat, with filling/changing the LPG bottles. Does anyone have experience of the LPG tank and how to get it filled?

admin says:
Rolle and Carina, we also think it looks nice! It will be interesting to see it in real life on occasion!
Across the board, you always have to compromise on something! 😉
Mia's Mix, we think it looks great too!
Days by Johanna, motorhome is not bad and this one looks nice!
Gabriella, isn't it beautiful?
Ann-Sofie, it depends on the type of tank/bottle? If you have a Swedish LPG cylinder, it's usually difficult, but it works well in Portugal (Albufeira): http://www.freedomtravel.se/2015/01/soderut-i-portugal/

Lasse Permelin says:
I'm surprised that they're investing in creating yet another new semi-integrated model. I'm not impressed with the layout. Certainly interesting with a fixed 50 litre LPG tank.

Lasse, you mean you would have liked a fully integrated model instead? I think this one looks nice, but of course it would be interesting to see it in real life!
