There's a lot to see at the Stora Nolia fair in Piteå. We've started this day by checking out the motorhomes in the large area with motorhomes and caravans.
Table of contents
Adria Sonic Plus
Among other things, we've had a look at Adria's new Sonic Plus I 700 SL, and it's really great! The motorhome is 7.5 metres long and has a nice bedroom, a spacious seating area with an electric folding bed above and a kitchen with an oven. The price is from £837,500. My favourite so far at the show!
Bürstner Elegance
We have also taken a look at the new Bürstner Elegance I 910 G. This vehicle measures 8.91 metres and has a gross vehicle weight of 5 tonnes. This is a stylish, fresh and spacious motorhome. A little unusual perhaps that the washbasin is outside the toilet room, and I also miss the oven, but I know that many motorhomes do not have an oven in the basic version. Price from 1 115 700 SEK.
Adria Compact Plus
The Adria Compact Plus SLS has probably been shown before, but since it's a bit special, we think it's still worth showing here. The car is only 5.99 metres long, but can be made longer when stationary through a slideout at the rear where the bed is located. Price from 678 900 SEK.
LMC Explorer 710 Premium
LMC showed a brand new fully integrated model (driver and living area built in one) of 7.30 metres. This model felt spacious and fresh and had the bathroom at the back, behind the long beds. At the front there is an extra fold-down double bed, which in itself made Peter feel that the ceiling was low in the front of the motorhome. The price for this particular car was set at SEK 982,000.
LMC 607 Breezer
LMC also showed two new semi-integrated models (driver and living area built separately). We looked into the LMC 607 Breezer, which was equipped with a queen bed at the back and unusually large windows in the bedroom area. The price for this particular car was SEK 779,000.
Knaus Sky in 700 LEG
Knaus showed a new fully integrated 7.5 metre model. A spacious car with a stylish seating area and a large TV that folds out of the partition wall, making the seating area feel separate from the kitchen. This model had long beds at the back and a bathroom between the kitchen and the bedroom (with a toilet on one side of the aisle and a shower on the other). The price for this car was SEK 899 000.
Knaus Sky Ti Scandinavian Selection 700 LEG
Knaus also showed a semi-integrated model. This had more or less the same interior solution as the fully integrated model, but lacked the fold-down double bed at the front. The price for this was 797,000 SEK.
Top picture: Peter discusses with the salesman from LMC - The motorhome is called LMC Explorer 710 Premium.

Goatfish says:
It was not easy to choose here.
I can only say that IF I had to, I would not want large windows in the bedroom area. I want it to be cosy with a slightly darker sleeping environment without visibility.
Always fun to play with the dreams 😀 of how it could have been.
For me, the future of hiking!

Cat's Considerations says:
I know nothing about motorhomes, even though we had a Knaus Sunliner 800 leg which we sold last year. We drove a Knaus 800 last summer and upgrading to more luxurious models is progressing rapidly, even I realise. Tomorrow we will also take a Nolia day but this time the focus will be more on the home and construction part as we are looking for a sauna heater and heat pump for our school house construction. Thanks for the tour.

Alexandra says:
New motorhomes look really luxurious! But it's not exactly cheap with a new motorhome, they all cost more than what we paid for our 79 sqm apartment 😀.
I would like to see a Mercedez Marco-Polo and Volkswagen California for real... I have a bit of a penchant for small camper vans as you know haha.

Ruth in Virginia says:
Imagine how much money is rolling around on the roads!
It costs a lot to keep these monsters running.
Also costs when they do NOT roll. 🙂
Almost like you have to roll in money to be a caravan owner.
Maybe I'm wrong - it has happened a few times. 🙂

Steve, choosing a motorhome is not easy, especially if you haven't had a motorhome before. Our advice is to think about what you want: how long do you want the motorhome to be, how much cargo weight do you want it to have, how much storage space do you need, how do you want the beds to be, what is your budget, etc. and then look for something that meets your needs.
Geddfish, when I saw the windows I thought it was nice, but you may have a point as well, I haven't really decided how I would like it 😉.
Katta, I hope you find what you're looking for at the fair and it's a shame we didn't get to meet!!!
Ama de casa, ... in crowded alleys, I know 😉 But there are also smaller motorhomes, so called flatbeds!
Fantasy Dining, modern motorhomes are incredibly beautiful!
Bosse and Gerd, we would have loved to check it out... but unfortunately, we have just left the fair... Will you come to Elmia, maybe it will be shown there?
Lennart, we haven't actually photographed more motorhomes. We tried to focus on the ones that said "new" 😉 Our favourite was the new Adria Sonic that we showed earlier: http://www.freedomtravel.se/2016/08/nya-husbilar-pa-stora-nolia/
Alexandra, no motorhome is not cheap... But you can of course also buy older used cars, then you get the price down.

It is fortunate that I do not intend to get a motorhome. Here you are in the choice of qualification if you say so. Not easy to choose.

Looking forward to seeing the new Adria Sonic at Elmia - looks promising, even though we will not change for a long time!!! Knaus is otherwise really nice!
Have fun in Pite 🙂

Matts Torebring says:
It's good that there are many motorhomes in the middle price range, otherwise most people would probably not be able to afford a motorhome. If you're not travelling in winter, these are probably fine.
11 August 2016 - 20:46
admin says:
Matts, it's good that there are motorhomes in different price ranges, after all, it's quite a lot of money anyway 😉 But you're right that some of the more expensive models can withstand the winter climate better!

Ninni, Henrik and the Knasen motorhome says:
Hi! Interesting and fun to go to fairs and see new products and other things. Lucky that you are not looking for something brand new, because you would get decision anxiety! 🙂
