Yesterday afternoon it was time for "Gör om mig" at the Stora Nolia fair in Piteå. It was extra fun and exciting to look at because our blogger friend Henny was one of the two to be styled.
Excited to see her new self
Two different women took part in the "Makeover" programme at the Stora Nolia fair yesterday and neither of them got to see the results before the mirror was brought out on stage. The two who made the transformation were hairdresser and make-up artist Eva-Lena Rylander and stylist and costume designer Hedvig Andér, both known from TV.
We thought it was extra fun to check because we (through the blog world) know one of the women who would be styled: Henny Lindgren with the blog Unsorted. Henny, while looking good from the start, got a new shorter and cooler hairstyle and stylish clothes that really suited her. You can see the before picture on the wall behind in the first photo or maybe in our blog post from the day before yesterday.
Learning to walk the catwalk
Henny wasn't the only one to get a makeover, another woman got a cool new style. To think that this woman previously had long blonde hair! Cool transformation! And then it was time for the catwalk, and who can teach this better than Tony Irving? "Think about how jealous everyone watching is," he said. And of course we were!

Unbelievable. For the participants, it must be both nervous and exciting. The fact that she is 77 is not visible, very well preserved, beautiful.

Henny is super beautiful!! And 77!??? wow!!!
I really like do-it-yourself programmes. I think those who always succeed SO well!
Understand that it was fun to watch.

Definitely Trinny and Susannah (The Style Police) piece on "Makeover". Same concept it seems. Oh I like the concept of emphasising the best in women regardless of body shape. No pointing fingers and calls to lose weight, for example. Thumbs up for sure!

Besides, it would be very exciting to see what they would come up with if you were in Gör om mig 😉 And thank you for the warm welcome here in Piteå!
Lennart, there is quite a large programme during the fair and we have only selected and focused on a few items.
Ama de casa, isn't it?
JoY, agree, exciting to see how someone else thinks about your style!
Geddfish, I've only seen it once, but it's a fun concept. The times I've seen it, they've always succeeded very well, I think!
Ditte, this fair is really varied, so to speak. Tell me what's not here!
Annika, you can really say that, there is really everything at this fair!
Åsa, yes it can certainly be a bit nervous both to see yourself and to stand in front of the big audience, but fun!
Znogge, yes, I would have thought it was a bit nervous too... but fun!
Henny, glad you liked the report! It was fun to watch too! 🙂 Of course you can borrow the picture and we will be so happy for a link!
Annika, I agree that they usually succeed well! It is important to find a style that the person can enjoy and feel comfortable in.
BP, I agree, it's all about finding a style that suits the person's body shape and personality, great that they succeed so well!

I think you are having a lot of fun. Even though I wouldn't think it's "worthwhile" to make a person 6.9. Nice to see other nice ones.
