We wrote a report on the Smove motorhome from Niesmann+Bischoff already in July, when we received a press release about it. Now, at the Elmia fair, we have been able to go inside and look at it for real. Here is a small picture bomb from the interior - a semi-integrated motorhome with a luxury feel.
Semi-integrated motorhome with a luxury feel
Niesmann+Bischoff normally produce large and exclusive motorhomes such as the Arto and Flair, but have now produced a semi-integrated "little brother" of 7.4 metres (and an even shorter version).
This is a really nice and cool motorhome that feels a bit like a Ferrari among the other cars of the same size. But you have to pay a lot for the feast of course (around SEK 900 thousand) and in practical terms you do not get more than in any other motorhome of the same length.

I apologise. But where you soak everything is for me not optimal and crowded. And difficult to dry tort.

It's good that there are alternatives for all pockets and uses. Many people don't travel in winter, others don't shower in the car.

What I know about motorhomes, is fully integrated, semi-integrated and with "overhang" (I think it's called).
The bedroom looked cosy, but what was the trap in between?
In our caravan we always showered, no problem at all, and here it was practical.
But a luxury price.

Everything is certainly a compromise, but pushing the toilet out of the way in such a large and expensive motorhome feels very much like 'tinkering'!

I know nothing about motorhomes at all. But wish you a nice weekend and hope it is good with you. Hugs

I have to say that pretty much every motorhome at the show felt quite luxurious... in its own way. It must be very modern to decorate your campervan with details that give it a luxurious feel. Like the look of the handles on the doors, the taps, many sinks, etc...

As a total ignoramus when it comes to motorhomes, I have to say that my head is starting to spin. It is then a heavenly luck that I/we are not looking for a motorhome;-)

I must say that I am surprised by the prices of the other motorhomes you have presented. I have been told that all new motorhomes cost close to a million these days. So in my eyes they are almost "cheap", hehe.

Nils-Åke, we weren't entirely fond of the bathroom solution either. It feels a bit like a patchwork solution.
Matts, we agree that the shower solution is a bit strange. In a flatbed I think it would be great, but it shouldn't be necessary in a motorhome this big.
Geddfish, that is exactly right with fully integrated and semi-integrated. Those "with overhang" that we have are called alcove cars.
We felt the same way about the toilet, actually. I like the design of this car a lot, but I think that the practicality has been compromised.
Kicki, you too!
Alexandra, I agree. I think a luxurious feel sells well. It's nice that it looks good, but it sometimes feels like it's at the expense of other aspects, such as safety and practical solutions.
Deciree, so do they usually have grass in the design? I haven't noticed that before 😉 And yes, we have fun! Meet many nice people! 🙂
BP, it's easy to get dizzy, and being here makes it even worse, haha. We have only shown a fraction of all the cars that are exhibited.
Lena, it's good that they feel cheap! Iofs so it is the basic prices that print. Often the buyer chooses different options and then it still becomes more expensive ...
