Malta Classic Grand Prix! On 6-9 October this year it was time for the annual event "Malta Classic Grand Prix". We were lucky enough to be in Malta and got the chance to both walk around the cool vintage cars and watch the race. Here's an unmissable photo gallery from the Malta Classic Grand Prix!
A tribute to vintage cars
The Malta Clasic Grand Prix is a four-day event celebrating vintage cars. The event takes place in the former capital Mdina. On the last of the four days, the real race takes place, with between 8-10 cars at a time competing around a particular track. This weekend has become a renowned and popular motorsport event that attracts both Maltese and international audiences every year.
We could also see for ourselves that this is a popular and well-attended event. Lots of people, many of them dressed up, were crowded among the cars and at the viewpoints. We ourselves walked around and took photos.
Which of the cars do you like the most?
We watched the race for a while, but the most fun was walking around and looking at the nice cars. I can't say that I am particularly interested in cars, but this was really fun. What an amazing variety of models and colours! Some are just beautiful and others are downright playful. All seem to be very well cared for by their dedicated and enthusiastic owners. Which of these cars do you like the most? Are you interested in cars?
Malta Classic Grand Prix
We had no idea what to expect when we got here but what a surprise. This was great fun and everyone wanted to talk and show off their veterans, before heading out on the road for the next race. We could go up to the highest lookout (the bar) and have a cold beer in the sun and watch the races. A great day!

I'm not particularly interested in cars either, but some events are fun to check out. Also, the older cars are soooo much cooler! Nowadays all cars seem to be cast in the same mould. Actually, there are probably two moulds. One for "regular" cars and one for SUVs 🙂 .
I like that red Ferrari. I like both the colour and the horses 😉 But IF I had it, it wouldn't still be in my possession. There are so many more fun things you could do with that money... 😀.

Cool cars! I usually look when there is an event in town. I'm not pining for one, no, I'm so happy with the Volvolina faithful friend 😀.
Happy Monday hug ♥ 😀

Many beautiful cars! I usually look out on Djurgården when there is "Prince Bertil's" vintage car race there and people are also dressed in period clothes.
Otherwise, I'm not very interested in cars, I see cars mostly as a means of transport.
Here I particularly liked the red Ferrari and the blue No. 11.
Really glad you got to experience this.

Dregel, dregel! I am very interested in cars and love vintage cars that the owners have taken care of so perfectly! Real gems!
My favourite is probably the grey Jaguar, which is also beautifully photographed. Drool, drool! And I can't help but drool over "The Frog" in the header image (the red one).

What fun with cars that you can see that there are different models and brands. Like Ama, nowadays all cars are almost identical.
The Jaguar is super stylish, thumbs up for it....

Ama de casa, I agree that it's fun to have these older cars that look different and have some personality 😉.
Geddfish, in everyday life we also think that functionality is more important than appearance on cars. But it's fun to look 🙂
Ann-Sofie and Lennart, it's beautiful! 😉
Ditte, I'm not really interested in cars either. But I still think such nice vintage cars are fun to see! 🙂
Nils-Åke, yes it was an intense journey! 😉
Steve, I'm not very good at car brands so I don't know either ...
Marina, glad you like the pictures/cars! 🙂
Emma, haha, yes, these cars felt a bit fanciful, like in a film 😉.
BP, nice to have someone who is really interested in cars and even knows brands and stuff (which I don't) 😉 .
Marita, much more variety in the past!
Lisa, we also like older things. And yes, the trip was very interesting! 🙂
