Last night we went to a really nice travel blog meeting. It all started a few weeks ago with the travel blogger Drydenwho lives in Jämtland, was visiting Stockholm and wondered if anyone wanted to "meet for a coffee". Three hours later the plans were underway, and Christian from Matochresebloggen generously invited all travel bloggers to his own home. Talk about attendance!
Nice to meet all travel bloggers
The travel blogosphere in Sweden is fantastic. There could be competition, but if there is, it's at the insignificant level. The atmosphere is fantastic and here it is about supporting and encouraging each other!
In the top picture of the post you can see Katarina from the blog Lost at last, Issue from Fab F'ämme and Lola from Geotraveler's Niche. The picture below shows Anna from Tourists and our generous host for the evening, Christian from Food and travel blog. And of course Peter from FREEDOMtravel!
They wanted to talk to everyone, but as usual at these events, there's no time for that. The picture below shows Towe from Come fly with me and Cathinka from On the move. Cathinka has just returned from an exciting trip in Namibia - yes, there is a lot of talk about travelling when travel bloggers meet!
Fortunately, Christian didn't have to cook for everyone. Instead, we got Vietnamese bowls from Panic Supper, in collaboration with Foodora. This bowl contained, among other things, noodles, really good "buns" (both vegetarian and not), along with chopped nuts and a strong sauce. Really good - fast food at its best, so to speak!
We thought we took a lot of photos, but we still didn't get everyone in the picture ... In the picture below you can see (in addition to those in the pictures above) Lisa from the blog. Life from the bright side, Jeanette from Jeanette Seflin and Anneli from Life in Cerise.
Some who didn't make it into the picture were Annika from Travel Friday, Sofia from Fantasy travel, Lena from Ladies Abroad (who is about to embark on an exciting trip to Azerbaijan!) and Lina from the Centre. Liniz Travel & Lifestyle. This was a really nice, fun and inspiring evening. I hope there will be more meetings like this!

Lennart, blogging is very rewarding! 🙂
Steve, Vietnamese food is probably one of my favourites in Asia, so delicious, even when it's relatively simple 🙂.
Imelda, very generous! And then it actually becomes more personal to meet like that, than out in a venue somewhere!
Åsa in Åsele, I could easily eat that Vietnamese food again! 🙂
Anna, I understand that the son's 20th birthday celebration took precedence! What fun!!! 🙂
Jenn, but really? Best travel blogs 🙂

Lena - good for the soul says:
But my goodness, what fun. And generous of him! Lola lectured at the Better Bloggers conference which I attended and I met Jeanette Seflin in the toilet at the same conference. We pulled her into our group as we were going to have a toilet groupie. I had never met her before, but as I said, in the blog world everyone is generous with community (this is also my experience). Everyone can join in and play, kind of. So wonderful!
Hug Lena

Yes, what a nice evening we had yesterday. I really hope we get more dates in real life. Got even more hungry for Croatia now that I looked around your blog! On the autumn holidays you can check in on lifeincerise and you will see what will be new playitas 😉 hug you!

But great to see you as always and fantastically epic organised by Christian.

It makes you happy when people don't see competitors in the first place but the opportunity to get to know new people and have a good time!
The Internet and the world are big enough for all of us to take up some space 🙂 .
