We have been working hard on both updates and news on our blog FREEDOMtravel. Now we are pretty much done (phew!) and today we present a video where we show you how to find all the news on the blog.
News and updates
We have reviewed and updated our pages (the headings you see in the menu) on the blog. Here you can find travel tips and different destinations, car parks and a lot of practical info on things like travel planning and packing.
We tell you about everything you find on the blog in a video. I hope you understand that we are amateur film makers. We do the best we can, haha. And it was NOT made easier by the boat rocking when we were filming ...
Anyway. Do you like our blog and the information you can find there? Feel free to tell others who might be interested, and don't forget to like our website. Facebook page or follow us on Instagram! And by the way ... this film thing ... do you think we should continue with it?
Lena - good for the soul says:
Great film, even though you are amateurs 🙂 And what a great setup you got. It was anything but amateurish! Long time since I surfed around now. I will immediately like your FB page. You are welcome to like mine as well 😉 .
Have a good Sunday!

Nice to see some renewal!

Mr Steve says:
Superb and really professional, I think! I've said it before, but it bears repeating. Your blog is a goldmine for travellers. Even people like me who have chosen not to travel anymore. However, I am happy to continue "travelling" with you.
I think this film was a good idea that you can try in several contexts. Enjoy!

Matts Torebring says:
For you, the blog is a tool in your business, which you manage with the utmost care and professionalism. Of course, I've been around the block before. My own blog is one or two hours of pure relaxation every day. Now I haven't dated my own blog for quite a while. However, the idea of change is there all the time.
When I see a poorly updated website on a company, I leave the site and the company. If you're not updated there, other parts probably won't work either. Our company website changes every day. Everything from information about new products, staff and what's going on. In addition, the website is updated every night from a central database that includes virtually all food suppliers. If Orkla Foods, for example, changes the content of Felix Goulash Soup, everyone can see in real time on our list of ingredients whether you can eat it because of allergens.
In other words, if we don't keep up, we don't exist.
Good luck with your business in the future!

Husis blog says:
Renewal is a good way to keep old readers and get new ones. I am one of these new ones who have discovered your site and follow it with pleasure and as a relatively new motorhome owner, you provide many good tips. Both before the trip and during the trip.
Keep up your professional work and have a good weekend!

You are really professional in what you do and a fantastic nice blog site.

Lena, what fun that you like our arrangement on the page! And yes, now I like your page on FB 🙂 Wishing you a nice Sunday too!
Lennart, you need something new sometimes 🙂
Steve, thank you for your kind words! We will speculate further on the "vlogging" thing. It may come in handy in more contexts 😉.
Matts, of course you can choose to organise blogging at different levels, and I understand that it's important for you to keep up to date with the company! We don't run the blog as a business in the sense that we want to make money in the first place, but we want to maintain a high level. It becomes a kind of business because we want to get good collaborations and we also need some income to cover expenses if nothing else. It's not free to put in as much time as we do 😉 And in today's fast-paced world, it's just as you say, you have to keep up, otherwise you're gone!
Husisblogg, great fun that you found here and thank you for your nice comment! Wishing you a nice Sunday!
Kenneth Risberg, thank you very much for your nice comment! Very nice to hear!

I have been following you for a long time and it has been and still is a lot of fun to follow.
We do not have a motorhome, but on the other hand, there are so many other useful and nice things in the world of travel so there is something to suit everyone. I also like the posts from Stockholm, because you are not always travelling.
I think you have done very well with the film, congratulations.
And if you have the time, film clips are always fun.

Nice, easy to navigate and professional! The film is also fun. Something new to the eye also makes you stay longer on the page. I don't really have the time for our blog now, but when I retire..... then......

Ditte, it's so nice that you still like to follow us! 🙂 We have many readers who don't travel by motorhome, but the travel tips are for everyone, no matter how you travel. Many of the tips about travel planning and packing are also aimed at other travellers. Glad you like our awkward film attempts! Maybe there will be more films in the future 😉
I'm glad you find it easy to navigate! I think that's important. I can definitely understand the lack of time, this kind of work takes time!

Great video, clear and instructive speech. Sure, keep filming!
An excellent and easy to navigate blog, I must say, and I already follow you on FB and Instagram. For my part, I travel with you in my imagination, a blog like this would have existed in our caravan era. Back then, only caravan and camping magazines were valid, but we got there anyway 😉.
I know, that blogging takes time 😀 even for a pansy 😉.
Hugs, take care!

Geddfish, thanks for the nice words about our blog! And haha, yes I understand that you arrived anyway 😉 But I like that today you can find so much good travel information on various travel blogs.
Ama de casa, oh yes, thank you, I'm used to talking in different contexts, but this filming is completely new to us 😉.
Stina, thank you so much! We will think further about "vlogging"! 🙂

Wow, getting up in the middle of the night and lashing the outdoor furniture sounds exciting! Have always dreamed of a houseboat! Spent my childhood summers on the lake - every weekend and the entire holiday - remember that it could blow up properly sometimes - especially on the west coast. Now I will look more on the blog and see if I find a picture of the houseboat 😀.

BP says:
I've been following you for a while now and following your adventures both at home and away. I like not only the posts but also the organisation. As everyone else says, you are professional and know what you are doing. This from someone who does not own a houseboat or motorhome.
The video is very educational and it is clear that you are used to speaking in front of large audiences.
Film clips instead of pictures, why not. But they should be short, like one minute maximum.

Marina, thank you! 🙂
Mrs Eriksson, thank you very much!
Linda, haha, yes sometimes it is a bit exciting to live on a houseboat! 😉 If you click on "About us" in the menu, it says about our houseboat. You can also check out the category "houseboat life": http://www.freedomtravel.se/category/husbatsliv/ Have fun!
BP, I'm glad you like the set-up and thank you for the great feedback! 🙂 When it comes to film, I agree with you. This one was a bit long, but I also think in normal cases it can be just right with 45 seconds - 1 minute. We will have to try a little 😉
