Oh how many late nights there have been now! The night before last it was travel blog meeting and last night we had a seafood dinner with our good friends Peter and Eva. It's been two great evenings, but I have to admit that I'm really, really tired now as I write (at 01:30 Tuesday night).
A new family member
You may remember Peter and Eva from when we met them on the Las Fallas festival in Valencia during our long journey around Europe? Or maybe you remember our Saturday interview with Peter - on the grounds that he has visited all countries in the world?
Now they just recently got a new family member, their first child Esmeralda. A very nice and calm little girl, who mostly slept during our dinner, but also wanted to be with us for a little while.
A fantastic seafood dinner
Peter and Eva offered an absolutely fantastic seafood dinner, with all the things we really love: oysters, Swedish crayfish with lots of roe, smoked prawns and really tasty crabs. The picture is a little blurry unfortunately - but that's exactly how my eyes feel now too, haha ...
It was really insanely good, and of course there were a lot of interesting conversations about everything from small children to travel. Peter is working intensively with a lot of exciting trips right now at his travel company Kon-Tiki Resor, and if you are curious about arranged trips to slightly different destinations, you should definitely check it out! Now we will start preparing for our trip to Malta on Thursday morning.

What a delicious dinner, and what a fascinating conversation you must have had.
Peter has no problem with 1.30 in the evening, he's only 26.

Ditte says:
So good and very nice!
Seafood is a clear favourite here too.
Remember the interview with Peter and Eva at your place and exciting if he can now get some influences and inspiration at Kon-Tikiresor.
I know the company and look at their website from time to time.
Maybe it will be an early evening today.
Have a nice trip to Malta!

What a luxury dinner! People talk about luxury shrimp, sliding on a shrimp sandwich, etc.
The sun is shining, the wind is chilly... now I'm taking care of everything, five errands today 😀 oh well.
Have a nice trip to Malta 😀.

Busy afternoon! 🙂
Esmeralda. Had to Google the name.
"A character in Victor Hugo's "Hunchback of Notre Dame",
who constantly attracts men with her seductive dances.
The one Quasimodo loves."
You learn a lot by reading blogs. 🙂

The Hh was supposed to go away but I forgot. I use them to copy when I write because the letter doesn't work on my keyboard and you don't know how many .. there are when writing 😉.

Oh this time of the year is the best when you can enjoy all the good seafood!!! My favourites are probably crayfish, oysters and lobster and this should be enjoyed with a glass of champagne 🙂 To do it together with your friends is always fun....

Wow, 1.30am, I'd be more dead than alive afterwards. No later than 10 p.m., or I won't feel well.

It costs to blog, you can get burnt out too;-)
Remember both posts with your friends and that seafood buffet was of the highest class, I must say. That the second picture was slightly blurred I guess has its completely natural explanations;-)
Esmeralda is sooooo cute.
Hope you could rest a bit (all day) today;-)

Susjos, yes exactly all countries actually! It was about him in the newspapers when he "finished" a number of years ago 🙂 Understand that you want to go to Malta again when the son lives there!
Petra, we also love this time with seafood! Crab is our favourite, but we probably like all seafood 🙂.
Lena in Wales, yes there are really exciting and interesting trips on Kon-Tiki trips!
Matts, I'm not really an evening person either... but sometimes that's what happens when you have a good time 😉.
Good on you for thinking about Peter's back! It's much better now, but his back is still sore ...
BP, well... rest up and rest up... I had to go to work 😉 Hectic right now, but fun!
Beppan, great to hear that you liked Malta! We look forward to being there soon! 🙂
