November storms, hard work and still broken motorhome

Writing about the weather is pretty boring, but this weather is so extremely unpleasant that you need to write about it. Snowy rain thundering in at high speed from the side. Could it get much worse? Of course, it's cold and dark too. We amuse ourselves by working ... and waiting for news of a broken motorhome.

We work hard

We are mostly working all the time at the moment. I'm working full time at Karolinska Institutet right now, with a government assignment that takes a huge amount of time, but has to be completed within a certain time period. I have an assistant and yesterday we panic-hired another one for a few weeks, haha.

I have enough work to keep me going, but apparently I'm not satisfied. I've taken on extra jobs both marking exams for another university and lecturing. Probably because you want to say yes to everything when you don't have a permanent job ... Peter also works around the clock, especially with blog collaborations, travel planning and future business ideas. We have our hands full, so to speak!

... and still have a broken down motorhome

The motorhome remains in the workshop in Kristinehamn after the incident on the motorway. We have called, of course, but they haven't had time to look at it yet. They are apparently busy with tyre changes now, so we just have to wait ...

We don't intend to use it again this year, but we would like to put it in winter storage before it gets really cold. And of course we want to know what's wrong!

Cosy in the houseboat

Fortunately, we are cosy in the houseboat. There has been a lot of north wind, which means that it is rocking, but at least we are warm and cosy. We have switched on the heating cable that keeps the water in and out thawed and if we want we can light the stove. But it has to get even colder first, otherwise it will be too hot in here ... What does November look like for you?
