ShareWintering with a motorhome in southern Europe
Last autumn we were contacted by a journalist who wanted to write a report for a magazine Husbil & Husvagn about wintering with a motorhome in Southern Europe, or rather in Spain and Portugal to be more specific. Did we want to share our experiences? Yes, why not? It all resulted in a report called "Wintering in Europe - two couples give their best tips".
The other couple in this case is Lennart and his wife who run the great site Husbilslivet.se. We're a bit curious to read their tips (and see the report at all!), but actually didn't find the magazine yesterday even though we looked at T-Centralen ... Below you can see a screenshot from the magazine's website.
Do you want to read the magazine?
If you want tips on wintering with a motorhome in Spain and Portugal, you can of course buy the magazine. It is available at some selected Pressbyrån, Coop and ICA and perhaps above all at very many OK / Q8. It should be the latest issue, that is, number 2, 2017. Maybe we will manage to find it today too ...

When we had a caravan, we always bought the Caravan & Camping magazine. It was fun to read about others and get tips.
All good, now I'm off on a mission! 😀

Dessan, I'm sure we can get a copy if we ask for it, but the last time I did it (can't remember which magazine) it took so long ... so we thought we might as well buy it ourselves ...

It's nice that you are involved in the more "old-fashioned" media as well. I, being of the old tribe, may prefer to browse a real newspaper sometimes. Especially if the sun shines too much so you do not see so well on the computer screen / tablet / fool 😉.

Then I have to check in our local ica store, not because it is so well-stocked but they have a large magazine shelf and I have bought that magazine before, I know that.
We usually bring a couple of issues in the Kottebobil in the summer to sit and read and browse.
I think there is perhaps too much advertising in the magazine, but the reports are usually worth reading. And then you can always find some tips too. Fun reading.

Bingo...the magazine was available at our little Ica in Nordmaling so now we have some reading, Rantafar got priority....

If you can't find the magazine, you can wait until the Caravan Fair in Kista, where it will be distributed for free;-)
PS. Even better - call the magazine and ask for a copy. When I/we wrote newspaper articles, we always sent free copies to contributors. DS.
