Ok, then we drive and Peter drives today. Today we will look at 3 nice caravans from the fair and in 360 photo of course. The camera that I have borrowed from Nikon is really effective when I shoot this way. For the first time, we can see an overall perspective in a motorhome, caravan, boat or house. Stay tuned!

3 nice caravans
I know very little about caravans and quality but I know a lot about planning. Having had my own construction company for over 20 years and helped many people with planning their homes, I understand what is needed in a caravan.
Caravan no. 1: Dethleffs Exclusive Snow 730
Dethleffs Exclusiv Snow 730 FKR nursery. It's 8.05 long and 2.50 wide and sleeps 7 for £541,000. A cosy and open caravan for the whole family.
Look around the caravan with 360 technology.
Caravan #2: Kabe Classic 780
KABE Classic 780 DGDL nursery. This one is 8.07 long and 2.50 wide, with 8 beds. 511 500 SEK. Large and spacious with its own nursery.
Spin around in the 360 photo
Caravan NO. 3: Eriba Troll 530
Eriba Troll 530 with its 4.71 long and 2.10 wide. A small and cosy caravan with 3 beds and a retractable roof. Only 235 000 SEK.

The future and caravans
Motorhomes are growing faster than caravans. Will they disappear? There will be driverless cars in the future and motorhomes already have reversible seats, so you can spend your time doing other things at the table. What about caravans, where you can't sit while travelling? What do you think if you are allowed to speculate freely?
åsa in åsele says:
Ha ha my first thought is that Fyy I'm so damn scared... a driverless ride I don't know if I'll survive with my sanity intact 😉
Hopefully it will take about 50 years for it to become a reality 😉.

Mr Steve says:
Grey, brown and beige dominate the motorhome and caravan world, I see. Why is that? They should be able to come up with some more colour. Is it simply because men are the interior designers in this industry? In any case, it's sad.
Will driverless cars be safer on the roads?

Ama de casa says:
You really don't see many caravans on the road these days. Not on campsites either - the motorhome has really taken over.
We had a caravan for a short while when I was little. I remember that I thought it was very cosy 🙂.

Åsa in Åsele: Unfortunately for you, it will come faster than that. Volvo is already running driverless in San Francisco in collaboration with Uber, and in Silicon Valley they have been running both lorries and cars for two years. Volvo is starting in Gothenburg this autumn and it is only one car brand. I guess ten years and we'll be there, haha. Welcome to the future!
Steve: I certainly agree. When we have to re-plaster our camper, I'll have to use the colours of the rainbow, haha. I actually helped design a campervan and I have the new one ready after 100 drawings, so I'm happy.
Driverless cars will definitely contribute to reducing road deaths by 95 %. Sure, there will be accidents, but for completely different reasons. A driverless car doesn't drive recklessly, it always stops at red lights, it doesn't drink and drive, and it reacts without delay like the human brain. I believe in the future!

Ama de casa: When you're a child, it's like living in a little hut and they enjoy it like never before. I had to build my hut because we had a country house, but I understand children. It is also an adventure for them and children always find things to do in nature, right? Maybe not today's children, haha.

Hi, now we are in my area 😀 I have been through three new whs recently (one in a previous marriage) and we switched up. Constantly looked at other wagons and solutions, it was very fun. Our dream carriage became a KABE Smaragd 2.5 m wide, 1.40 bed and some extra refinements, decorated in sun yellow. Our egoist caravan, it was 7 years old when I sold it, completely intact, a gem.
There are plenty of choices on campsites, after all. A good "summer holiday home".
We saw some Eriba, it is very cute and smart for 2 people on the road.
Yep, that was the Avenue of Memories. Thanks for the tours in 360! 😀 ?

Marina says:
There is not much that looks like when we lived in a caravan... My friend's family had a caravan in Tandådalen, Sälen every winter and I was there. I remember how we walked around the campsite and were dumbfounded by everyone with double wheels...this is about the time you should start thinking about how old you really are!!!! It still feels a little scary with the driverless, but at the same time breathtakingly exciting.

Lena in Wales says:
Like the 3rd caravan!
Yes, I hardly dare to look into the future, but who knows the future may soon become the present.
All the best to Lena from a spring-like Wales.

Peter Bergström says:
Geddfish: It's great that I could give you a little taste of caravans. Of course there are a lot of caravans, we have about 240,000 in Sweden and 75,000 motorhomes. Have a good time and fun that you talked about old memories.
Marina: Haha, I also remembered when one of my friends came with double wheels. Very impressive and we are not old yet. We have long rich lives, that's how it is!
Lena in Wales: You can't write like that when we have a snowstorm and I can't get away yet either. I can inform you that the future is in a hundred years and what we are talking about is here, outside your door. The generations below us see it as the present but we older ones see it as the future, haha.

Like your spinning camera:-) My husband grew up with a motorhome so for him it is "walking Memory Lane". I also posted that Eriban on the blog. It had apparently received an award for best caravan in that size. I couldn't really understand it, as I thought it was so boring inside. It was silver grey on the outside instead of white, but still.
Driverless cars/camper vans/caravans - well, why not. I hope it happens in our lifetime. That would be fun!

Matts Torebring says:
We have been caravanning for 27 years. Today we almost feel sorry for those who remain in the caravan life. Still, it's a good start, before moving on to a motorhome. There were many different caravans, first a small one, then bigger and bigger and finally a huge one that could not be moved on level ground. It was just to back it in the right place. Which was not an art for me.

We have done our with the caravan life so it is no longer attractive. But good alternative for perhaps families with children:) Nice pictures with the camera:)) Hugs

Peter Bergström says:
BP: You will experience driverless cars and caravans, I promise. A caravan in silver, my God, how modern, haha. I think it also won an award for the most daring caravan colour:-)
Matts Torebring: I think they will eventually stop manufacturing caravans, so I give it 10 years or what do you think?
