60th birthday celebrations with a party in a restaurant

Happy Friday! It's not every day you get to celebrate your brother's 60th birthday, but that's what we did on Saturday. It was a really lovely and fun party in a basement vault in the Old Town. We offer some photos!

60 years and party

My much older brother Micke (3.5 years older) turned 60 on Saturday and he had decided to keep it small after all these years. Micke has been with his wife Nilla for over 30 years, and I have passed three long-term relationships in the same time, hmm, who's fault is that?

There would be a pub with a live band in Old Town and rock and blues were on the agenda. His daughter Desiree, who we photographed at the wedding last summer, had her own ideas. She set up a closed Facebook group and invited everyone from many years ago, of course. Who can get away with not going away?

Tears and joy

I had called him and said that I would come later because I was at a blog event that was important, and he knows that we do that from time to time. Of course I stood and met them when they arrived and he was very happy and thought this was the surprise. The pub we were in had two floors with many different cellars and downstairs were the rest of the people who wanted to surprise.

Hugs and tears are wonderful and we had a lovely evening in the pub. We continued after one when it closed home to my son Robin and Alexandra who invited everyone to their home. Home 06,30 huuuu, i'm to old for this shit but NOT 60 yet.

Happy happy Friday

How has your week been? Maybe shit, maybe boring, but there's always something good, right! Think about it and bring out the positives, and throw away all the other stuff like newspapers, Trump and his aunt and uncle and throw all the crap behind your back and smile all weekend. Do something that you don't usually do just to shake things up. Now you have a mission for next Friday, however small, and I want to hear it. Have a really nice weekend. Peter.
