We Have a Dream at Fotografiska museet

Yesterday I visited the "We Have a Dream" exhibition at the Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm with my new colleagues. The exhibition opened in December and is on display until 19 February. If you haven't already seen it, take the opportunity to do so while it's still there!

We Have a Dream

The message of the exhibition is that nothing is impossible for those who dare to dream and want to act. 114 portraits show people fighting for a better world - for peace, for equality or to fight violence, poverty, oppression or bullying. They are people of different ages, from different parts of the world and with different circumstances.

They are politicians, business leaders, writers, artists or ordinary people who have fled violence and oppression - or simply feel in their hearts that they want to help make the world a better place.

They are people who choose to help others over their own prosperity, and they are people who risk their lives to get their message across in blogs or through pictures. These are people who truly inspire! Albert Wiking's portrait photos are also very powerful.

Exhibitions at the Museum of Photography

"We Have a Dream" is on display at Fotografiska museet until 19 February. Right now, and until 5 March, you can also see Charlotte Gyllenhammar's exhibition "Night". I have to admit that I found it quite difficult to understand what she wanted to say with that exhibition, but of course, how one perceives art is different ...

Until 2 April, you can also see "In memory of Lennart Nilsson". Parts of the famous exhibition "A Child is Born" are on display again, as a tribute to the photographer who passed away this year at the age of 94.

Have you ever been to the Museum of Photography? Have you seen the "We Have a Dream" exhibition and what did you think?
