Happy Friday with Helena? Surely something is wrong now? It is Peter who usually writes "Happy Friday"? Well, I was given the task of writing the last post from All for the Lake 2017, and since it's Friday, can it be a happy Friday? In addition, we have most fun and different pictures left from the fair, so we offer them today!
happy moments at the fair
We've been hanging out at the Allt för sjön fair a lot this week (especially Peter!), and we've done several serious reports on everything from luxury boats to female solo sailors. Today is Friday and we're treating ourselves to a more relaxed and (hopefully) fun report. Here are some of the happy highlights from the week and the fair.
The Wilderness Fair starts today
We won't be reporting more from the boat show, but it actually continues all weekend along with the Wilderness Fair. Hope you are not completely Tired of trade fair reports? We're keen to check out what this new fair has to offer as well ...
How has your week been?
Maybe you shouldn't bring up negative things on a Happy Friday, but I have to say that I found it a bit sad when I heard that the beautiful Azure Window in Malta had collapsed... Of course, the best thing this week is that we had interesting and intense days at the fair! How has your week been? Maybe see you at the fairs this weekend?

Great pictures!

Alexandra says:
We are visiting Vildmarksmässan on Sunday, so maybe we'll see you again then?
Oh it's great that it's Friday ?
10 March 2017 - 7:04
Helena says:
Great if we meet again!!! That fair is usually quite fun and varied too, I think 🙂 .

Husis blog says:
Festive boats and the King of Hearts was very nice but it does not take care of itself... I also have solar panels but can also go without these but gives the owners a little more freedom as they can go without electricity.
Now the owners are on their way to Stockholm so for them it was a very early morning today, the alarm clock rang so unbelievably early...?
10 March 2017 - 7:34
Helena says:
Solar panels are good! Do the owners have something interesting going on in the capital?
10 March 2017 - 10:23
Across the board says:
Very nice wooden boat, I can almost smell the tar and sun.
10 March 2017 - 7:43
Helena says:
Yes, a bit like that! Around these private boats there were also the owners and it felt a bit like walking around in a private marina 😉.
10 March 2017 - 10:23
Kenneth Risberg says:
Visiting Vildmarksmässan today. Good tips on food, herring sandwich!
10 March 2017 - 8:34
Helena says:
Fun! You might bump into Peter, because he is there today!
10 March 2017 - 10:24
Peter says:
Almost time to go to the fairs! A "must" it feels like and a small start to spring.
10 March 2017 - 8:53
Helena says:
Yes, it feels a bit like a start of the season! First there was a motorhome / caravan fair, then a boat fair, and now a wilderness fair 🙂.
10 March 2017 - 10:25
Marina says:
Oh, the King of Hearts was right up my alley, although it should be accompanied by someone who takes care of it 😉.
Glad you had a good week at the fair!
10 March 2017 - 9:19
Helena says:
Of course there is a lot of work with a boat! For us, the houseboat is enough, it is both a house and a boat 😉.
10 March 2017 - 10:25
Lena - good for the soul says:
It has been fun to hang out with you here on a small corner. This afternoon/evening, I'll try to find you for a hug 🙂.
Hug Lena
10 March 2017 - 9:33
Helena says:
I am not there today (working), but Peter is there for hugs! 🙂
10 March 2017 - 10:26
Veiken says:
A bit of a long way to the fair, but maybe another time. It's the same at all fairs. It is only the imagination that sets the limits! It is well called development I can believe! 🙂
10 March 2017 - 9:34
Helena says:
I think development is the fun part! It's good that people have ideas and think new things. Then maybe not all ideas work, but they may lead to something else!
10 March 2017 - 10:27
Ditte says:
Great pictures and signs!
There are some sauna rafts in Årstaviken that can be rented. However, I have not tried, but have been on board one. Hjerter Kung is a nice old boat and probably owned by a fan because it is a lot of work and interest required to keep it clean. Funny that it was present at the fair.
The wilderness fair is probably skipped and so did I with the boat fair this year. But I have often been there in the past when we had a boat ourselves. But I look in with you and read and then get some information.
It has also been a good week this week and there are no problems with things to do.
10 March 2017 - 9:42
Helena says:
It takes a lot of commitment and work to keep a boat in good condition! And you can follow the fairs here on our blog! 😉
10 March 2017 - 10:28
Mr Steve says:
There were very odd floats on offer today and the beautiful King of Hearts.
Fair time again, Vildmarksmässa sounds fun so I'll join it too.
At Getingstorp, missing Nelson has dominated the week. Today, however, I am glad that spring seems to be on its way in earnest. Have a good one!
10 March 2017 - 9:50
Helena says:
I really understand that there must be a great emptiness and lack of Nelson! But it's nice that ours is on its way!
10 March 2017 - 10:29
Goatfish says:
I liked the King of Hearts, felt old and honourable, but not maintenance free 😀.
The angry float was fun, haha, raised the corners of my mouth!
Looked at the collapsed window, yes the forces of the earth, that's it.
My favourite part of this week has been the Gospel training, it always brings fellowship and joy 😀.
Happy Friday hugs ?
10 March 2017 - 10:09
Helena says:
Often when something is destroyed, it's humans who have been at work, but this time it's just nature. Nothing to do about it. But a bit sad and strange. It is often seen in pictures from Malta and we have been there ourselves ...
10 March 2017 - 10:31
Anette Åhnbrink says:
Nice floats you have offered all week! So you mean you didn't go on the small ferry (raft) in Butrint in Albania?????? We were warned and it was lucky! But have talked to those who went, scary ... this week's happy is that it is a little brighter outside and that life also looks a little better? Thought about it, will you be at the travel fair next weekend (week)? Have a nice Friday cosy and nice weekend for you?/Anette
10 March 2017 - 10:20
Helena says:
Haha, no we didn't go on that "ferry" in Butrint... but we saw it!!!! And documented fascinated 😉 You think of the Panorama Mediterranean I guess? We have not had time to talk about it actually, but it might be fun to look past! Are you going there?
10 March 2017 - 10:34
Anette Åhnbrink says:
Well, hopefully we'll be raiding the big city next weekend?
10 March 2017 - 12:26
Helena says:
That's great! I have talked to Peter now and we have booked some friends next weekend. and then there have been a lot of fairs now for a while .... 😉 But we'll see! Maybe, maybe!
10 March 2017 - 20:26
åsa in åsele says:
There are so many different boats and other types of watercraft,
oh I'm not at all interested... 😉 I can admit that I liked the picture of the bistre eagle whatever it is, lots of teeth anyway 😀.
Now I'm looking forward to your report from the Wilderness Fair.
Feels like it's a bit more "my thing" than the boat thing... 🙂 ...
I hope you have a lovely weekend, hugs.
10 March 2017 - 11:08
Helena says:
Then we hope to come up with some fun reports from the Wilderness Fair! We ourselves are a bit in between, we like a bit of boats and a bit of wilderness ... a little bit like that 😉.
10 March 2017 - 20:28
Role o Carina says:
Boats in all honour, have had a boat before but now it's a motorhome! 🙂
And new working weekend....SolKram
10 March 2017 - 16:08
Helena says:
Motorhomes are number one for us too, every time! But we like to get out on the water when we are on holiday. And then we live on a houseboat of course 😉.

So today we were out in Älvsjö and checked out the Boat and Wilderness Fair. We missed each other again, as I forgot Peter's phone number and he (as usual) was not at the stand. Maybe sometime we will succeed.
Didn't blog about the boat show today (coming tomorrow). We have many common readers so I did not want to clash with you. Nice, huh;-)
I also took three of your pictures, so I will have to choose them tomorrow;-)
The Wilderness Fair was a bad joke, to be honest. You can read what I thought on the blog if you want. Can not imagine that we "double" there;-)
Azure Window also made me a bit sad. Good thing I have it in the picture:-)
PS. We love going to trade fairs, although this one wasn't the best we've done. So it will have to stand for a fun thing this week. If only for the good food in the exhibition restaurant;-) DS.
10 March 2017 - 18:56
Helena says:
I can't believe we miss each other all the time!!!! But there have been many days at the fair for our part, so yes, it is difficult to stand in the stand all the time if you say so ... Sorry that you did not like the Wilderness Fair. I'll see what I think tomorrow!

Matts Torebring says:
You are really good at making broad, factual posts, not least this one.
10 March 2017 - 19:00
Helena says:
Now we feel that we have written about everything possible at the boat show, haha. Time for a wilderness fair!
