Ok, here we go! Yesterday we launched our new "Travelling the world" service, which can be found under the travel tips tab. It has taken me seven weeks to compile and there is a lot that needs to be completed. We have received so much input and so many emails but it will be good in the end. That's right! I was going to write about picking up a car in the city and trying the new car-sharing service DriveNow in Stockholm. Stay tuned!

Pick up a car in town
We are travelling to Malta on Thursday morning and now all our trips start, and we already have 9 trips ready for September. I meant to write about DriveNow several weeks ago but there has not been room. DriveNow contacted us this week and wants to co-operate with us and I think it is very important to do this in the future.
2050
In 2050, Stockholm will have almost twice as many inhabitants as today, about 3.4 million. How many cars will there be then? The car-sharing service DriveNow is one of several that will have to intrigue society to make it work. We'll be picking up our car in town by Thursday and we hope it works because we're going on an adventure in Malta.
Crazy Sunday
As I write this post, I have 10 sub-tabs open at the same time with anyone who has feedback on our new World Tour. Saturday 16 hours and Sunday late early morning. Helena's keyboard is throbbing and we're working flat out and it's nearly 9.30am, but there are many more hours to go. We don't know what a blog drought is because we have posts for the rest of 2017 already today.
Other news
I'm getting tired of all the heavy stuff and want some fun posts about us crazy Swedes on tour. This from eBeach
Where do we prefer to go at Easter?
We go to the blogger friend BP and we have some scrap iron in our Easter eggs so she can build her own cranes, haha. Now, according to Ticket. se, other Swedes do not want to follow my good advice so they prefer to travel to ...
Now there will be no more
I sit with my dry martini after a good dinner. The seagulls are screaming at each other. The stove is burning and it's getting too hot. The aeroplanes cross each other from Bromma airport. The ducks quack outside our boat. The emails are pouring in and the flags are flying.
I have seen a pink sunset and swans in the lake. The pads are squeaking and I'm on a journey without travelling. Now I will have a cigarette just because I want to, and sit outside our boat and enjoy 5 minutes before the seriousness continues. Happy Monday!

Mr Steve says:
There are many exciting partnerships you have established. DriveNow is a service that is definitely in the right time / future.
Celebrating Easter with BP and building cranes sounds like a wonderfully crazy idea. It will be fun to read posts from that Easter celebration.
It's great to see that you can enjoy the moment despite a busy schedule. That ability may even be a prerequisite for coping with the busy schedule.

It will be interesting to try how it works and that it works painlessly. Yesterday there was a peak that was completely crazy. It felt like a newspaper editorial office at full speed and we woke up this morning completely exhausted. It will be nice to travel away and photograph and experience things. It will be just as hectic but in a different way and it will be a lot of fun. We don't even have time to write about everything we do. I've been at events several evenings with different tourist organisations and tonight it's tapas with Gran Canaria and tomorrow it's some big ship I'm going to write about. I didn't know it would be this much, but you have to learn to say no sometimes.

Gomorron, you've really hit the jackpot and I congratulate you 😀.
It's good that you can enjoy the moment anyway, that's the key, otherwise you'll get "burnt out".
Happy Monday hug 😀

Haha, I had to Google the word vebränder. What a dialect haha. Fully unconscious and we enjoy at the same time and have fun. We would just like to get in phase at some point but maybe towards the summer, haha.

Ruth in Virginia says:
"You boil porridge and burn it,
you only do that when you are in love ..."
And burnt porridge is NOT good. 🙂
I get all fatigued when I read about the
everything you have going for you. What a stamina; takes even more
than a Vasaloppet. Good luck!

Peter says:
Hahaha Ruth! We are still doing crazy things in this country, but don't get me involved. I'm probably on the boat in Stockholm:-)

What fun to have so many journeys going on!
Wow, what a job with that compilation of world travel - impressive!
Have a nice Monday!

Travelling in the world is full on all the time and many people contact us. It is also very useful for us when we are travelling. We are going to Amsterdam soon and now we can easily find lots of information on the same page. We'll see in time how many countries we can visit. It can be found under travel tips on our blog.

Marianne - Glimpses of the world says:
What a great job with Travelling the World! I created something similar on my blog a while ago, and gradually I've added some Danish and Swedish blogs as well. It's a job to keep it updated, but in return I spend much less time searching around on countless blogs to find out who has been to the country I'm looking for information about.
03 April 2017 - 16:03
Peter says:
Now you can pick the countries that no blogger has been to yet, so just book. We will use this ourselves when we travel, because you don't know everything in every country. We're still adding to it and will probably do so for a while and it's getting better and better.

We will try to fill up with trips as best we can because we will be travelling. Many hugs to you.

Ditte says:
Great fun, enjoyable and inspiring travelling the world. And what work you put in to make it happen. Thank you very much for this.
And if you need a car in the city, "Drive now" is one of several alternatives. We think taxis work well if we are going to fly or the airport buses. We have not felt the need for a car yet. Gave away our car to our daughter a couple of years ago and have not needed it at all. Nice feeling to live in the city and have everything close by.
Easter is here and it is Spain and there is a lot to see and experience. Madrid is close at hand.
Wishing you a nice trip and nice days now in Stockholm. And yes, Stockholm is fantastic.

Peter says:
I would like to have all your trips on our page Ditte, but they are in your head because I can't find any online. We have also talked about getting rid of the car and getting a moped. the car costs more than we drive it and it feels unnecessary. I'm really jealous of Spain right now and the heat, wow. You will have such a good time Ditte.

Matts Torebring says:
What a job you have done! Unbelievable! Instead of living with 3.4 million others, I would like to live in the countryside by a lake, with just my wife, my own car, camper van, and children & grandchildren coming to visit.

Peter says:
I can only agree and if I get so old, I will not live in the city but in the motorhome far from here. Maybe in France in some small village by the sea all alone with Helena and blog, haha.

Glad to return to beautiful Malta soon.

Oh how nice it will be with Malta. They have ONE campsite and the boat leaves from Sicily so go ahead and go down. Wonderful climate and close to everything.

What an incredible job you have done on "Travelling the World"! I was just going to have a look, but I almost never left the computer when I looked at posts about some of my favourite countries; India, Ecuador, Vietnam etc. When I then scrolled past all the countries, I realised how many incredibly cool destinations there are, but thankfully some that do not attract at all.
Sounds quite nice that you can sit down for a while, with some goodies in your glasses and just enjoy! I, who have the same dialect as "Geddfish" do not want to see you (or anyone else) burned. This time of year when you have the most to enjoy is unfortunately also the most hectic!
Have a great time in Malta!

I am delighted and you may find some more good reports in our new site. I think and hope that more people will find their way in and discover the benefit of finding good personalised info on all countries. We will use it ourselves to pick out the best of each country. Helena is adding to it right now so it is growing every day.

Hahaha! I would have liked to see that giant egg on the roof of "Mini-Freedom" or why not on a DriveNow Mini. Or wait - their BMW might have been more suitable for the job:-)))))
Great praise for the work you have done on Travel Tips. Can say that seven weeks is a very short time for such a work. Well done there!!!
As for DriveNow, the company seems to be taking over from "Car2go" which left Sweden and Stockholm in November due to lousy parking facilities and declining interest from us zero-rated people. Hope DriveNow succeeds better.
So many things you have going on. I hope you can handle it all and really enjoy it in the future.
Nice to see Malta again. Love that island!
PS. Many thanks for the second link in a week:-)))) DS.

Haha, we will collect scrap and then you will build. Too bad there are no driverless cars already because then you would just send things. We are quite tired after the weekend and it will be nice to go away and just have fun for a while. There are more car sharing services and more are coming. I know that parking is difficult and now the state has to step in and make it easier because it's a must if everything is not to come to a standstill. I hope they continue. Now I will complete the list of travel destinations.
