Ok, time for a new update on the market. I've been to several events this week and some of them I write about here. Sweden is hot in the world and things are going very well for us. In Stockholm, start-up companies are thriving and ideas for developing products and services to fit into digital life are flowing. Everything will become easier. Join us!

Monarch flies to London
Low-cost carrier Monarch opens three direct routes from Arlanda to London, Manchester and Birmingham. From SEK 350 one way to these cities. Of course, we will also get a lot of happy English speakers to Stockholm and we thank you for that. Go Sweden!
Direct flights to Zagreb
Direct lines to Zagreb and which finally has a new airport. Great fun and two and a half hours to a fantastic capital city for a long weekend. Just book! PS. Have you checked out the island of Rab in Croatia? A hot tip is to take the ferry over and see the greenest island in Croatia.
Amazon builds in Sweden
Amazon is crazy big and now it wants to enter Europe properly, and where do you do that? Stockholm is glowing! Amazon is building three large complexes in Västerås, Eskilstuna and Katrineholm. Three are being built so that none of the complexes can be disrupted by power cuts, and billions of dollars are being invested.
Amazon web services already has customers such as Ikea, Nokia, Scania and Telenor and has a cloud computing division. Cloud services are the information that you can store without losing it online. Sweden is doing well!
Fast travel information from Skyscanner
You can't take just anything in your hand luggage. We don't want to see badminton rackets and golf clubs in the cabin, nor fishing rods. A lighter if you smoke and not ALL your favourite perfumes please! Tent pegs and drills go away. Don't bring your favourite soup home in your hand luggage because then you'll have to drink it cold at the airport, haha.

Thank you Marina! I'm just enjoying the sun and there's been a lot of cleaning and window washing on the boat today. Now with a dry vodka at the computer.

Now it's not a flight to England, but a motorhome
01 May 2017 - 9:18
Peter says:
It is very crazy that there is no ferry to Great Britain. I would really like to go there with the motorhome, but then I have to go via France. really bad.

Ama de casa says:
A lot of Spain there on the most sun and beach for the money list. And I can understand that - even though we had three (THREE!!!!) cloudy days in a row here now. But now the sun is back again, nice! 🙂
I like Amazon. Not that I know anything about them, but the name is great. Ama-zon definitely sounds like something for me 😉.
Have a great first May!
01 May 2017 - 9:32
Peter says:
Haha. You just have to have that cloud service. They might get an add-on service for everyone back home AMA Casa or Casa Zon service. you have to email, haha. Have fun in the sun.

Ruth in Virginia says:
"Sweden is fantastic."
So why is it that so many Swedes are travelling...
away from there, especially in the summer?
01 May 2017 - 15:08
Peter says:
Let's not be like that, Ruth. As a country to live in, Sweden is very good and the economy is being strengthened all the time so that we stay ahead for the future. We want more heat both in water and per day. We are also Vikings so we need to look around the world and then we become richer in our minds. That's how it is!

Matts Torebring says:
It's great that you write for everyone. But for us, the motorhome is totally unbeatable. It beats flying and summer cottages by a mile.
01 May 2017 - 15:57
Peter says:
I know Matts! But it's good that we're on the move because we're finding new destinations for everyone, and that includes motorhomes. We're going to Poland and the Czech Republic this summer just to write up all the best campsites and sights. Next year we'll be travelling to France, Austria, Slovenia and, if we have time, Slovakia and Serbia. All in favour of motorhome life.

More cheap flights for owners and others so they can spend money in the city and on food, not on boring flights?

Hahaha! Then you are in the right place that is third. Wondering if Benidorm had ended up there even after this spring;-)
Great to see all the new routes and new airlines entering the fray against Ryan Airways and Norwegian.
