Spring and summer travel plans

This May Day weekend we have been at home in the houseboat. We have cleaned and worked on the computers - really nice to get things in order actually. But soon things will happen here on the blog. We have lots of exciting things going on! Now it's time to present our spring and summer travel plans.

Sailing with Gratia

In the coming weekend we will join the Swedish Cruiser Club's Sailing School on a sailing trip with Gratia, which is a former luxury yacht from 1990. This will really be soooo exciting!

I have already read the packing list for this weekend's adventure. I think I'm going to skip the wellies, swimwear, sheath knife and musical instruments, but I'm pretty happy with the contents of Peter's dive bag. At least it reminds me a bit of a sailor's bag, right?

Could be a sailor's sack ... or?

Party in Amsterdam

The following weekend we are travelling to Amsterdam with a whole bunch of 'youngsters': Peter's son Robin and his wife Alexandra, Peter's niece Dessi and her husband Lasse, Peter's nephew Sebbe and his girlfriend Moa, and Robin's mate ... also called Robin.

We are going to a concert and see Armin van Buuren's 20th anniversary at the Amsterdam Arena. The whole gang is excited and we have decided that we will dress in white. Almost makes you think back to Sensation White in Oslo 2011!

Helicopter flight in Stockholm

The weekend after Amsterdam, we have had the chance to try our hand at helicopter flight over Stockholm. Wehoo! Will be just so much fun!

Film festival in the Czech Republic

At the end of May, it's time for a press trip to the Czech Republic. It seems to be a tour of Moravia with culture, festivals and a film festival "in honour of Astrid Lindgren". "We've been to the Czech Republic a few times now and have become very fond of the country, so we're looking forward to this.

The Czech Republic is a country we've fallen in love with - it has much more to offer than just Prague!

Weekend in Serbia

We are in the process of arranging a trip to Belgrade in Serbia, and if it turns out as we want, we will go in June. However, it's not ready yet, so if we don't get it, we'll have to postpone the trip to the autumn.

Motorhome trip around Poland and the Czech Republic

I know that some of you got the impression that we already got the motorhome home (maybe we were unclear), but that's not really the case. However, we have received positive news that the workshop has now received the right parts and should be able to fix it. We expect to be able to pick it up in Kristinehamn soon. Peter will make a film about it!

This summer's big campervan plan is a three-week tour of the world. Poland and Czech Republic. It will be really fantastic to get into the motorhome again. We love travelling in different ways, but the motorhome is something special!

This is how happy you are when travelling by campervan! It's been a long time since ...

Motorhome trip to Wismar

On 17-20 August, we have planned to experience the Swedish festival in Wismar in Germany. "We thought it would be fun to go as a group and have invited others with motorhomes to join us. So far, nine motorhomes have registered that they want to join us. Soooo much fun! Shout (or send an email perhaps) if you also want to join!

And more ...

We will certainly have time for some events and blog parties as well. Once we get the motorhome, we can also go on shorter trips. And of course we want to hang out here in the marina ... Already yesterday we started to notice a hectic life with boats, jet skis and canoes. In two weeks, a new restaurant will open here in the marina (since Sjökrogen closed down)!

We hope you will join us on all our crazy trips and adventures! Do you have a trip or other fun event to look forward to?

If someone (Ama de casa) is wondering, yes there are two Dry Martini on the top picture. After a little misunderstanding, we can now clarify that Peter not drank a Drajja while installing the crane (even though the the bowl of washing-up liquid in the photo After all the talk, we got hungry ... so last night we had a Dry Martini for real!
