This week has been tough! Peter has been working on building a log house on Ringsö and I have been "holding the fort" at the county council and at home in the houseboat. But the hardest part has been not seeing each other. It may sound a little silly, but we are not used to being apart ... Now Peter is home again, and that means it is definitely Happy Friday for us! Among other things, there was a seafood party yesterday in the houseboat...!

Peter has spent a week and a half on Ringsö in Lake Mälaren, helping our friends to make the building a log house. I was on the island for the weekend, but then I went back home. I am working! I think working in the summer is okay, but being apart is not as fun ...
Peter is back home
Peter is home again, and that's my best contribution to Happy Friday! Last night we had a seafood party in the houseboat - a really nice evening with oysters, prawns and crayfish to celebrate being together again.
In addition, I have finally received help here at home in the "blog office". Peter has visited an island in Lake Mälaren called Oxsten, which has a very special history. Film and story to come! What has been most positive during your week?

I am looking forward to Peter's film.
The most positive thing for me this week was that D and I went on a day trip and of course that D is enjoying a holiday this week. She needs it.

We also have a great Friday feeling today. Going on holiday for the 3rd time this summer. 🙂 The children come to me this afternoon and we go out to the cottage tomorrow.
The negative (if you can include it) is that the weather looks like rain, rain, rain on our mountain hike later this week and that my poor ear crystals are still rattling. Looking forward to being alert and feeling good whenever it is.

Fresh seafood is so good!!! Understand that it was nice to meet again and to celebrate it with a seafood party.
Here it has been a great week with a bit of everything and since I am a "Baroness" I have the time for what I want to do. Some travel jobs are planned and some trips are planned and enjoying the beautiful weather in beautiful Stockholm and in the archipelago is also clearly enjoyable.

You are absolutely right! But I know that many others are apart from each other from time to time, in work and other things ... But we don't like it and try to avoid it 😉 And we got almost everything ... just some prawns that were left over for the breakfast sandwich 😉.

The best thing about the week is "Happy Friday", which for me is a day off after a hectic work week (it's no lazy man's work with an 8-hour workday to work at the pathology lab during the holiday season with barely half the staff). There will probably be some shrimp here tonight, but next Friday it will be lobster and bubbly, then four weeks of holiday awaits!!!!!
