So far, we don't have anything interesting to tell you about the trip, so we're doing travel news as usual on Mondays. This week, we can tell you what Swedes prefer to read in their deckchairs, that the Öresund Bridge has set a traffic record and about the world's worst airports.

Russia bans anonymous surfing

Vladimir Putin dislikes that the citizens of Russia are surfing the web anonymously using VPN services, and are introducing a banning law that will come into force in a few months. Reporters Without Borders believes the law reduces internet freedom and will affect journalists and the possibility of independent journalism. The new law has already resulted in demonstrations on Russian streets.

New travel emojis?

Booking.com believes that social media is not equipped with the right emojis to show how travellers experience the first day of their holiday. So they have taken the liberty of creating new emojis and launched a campaign appealing to Unicode to start using them.

The most popular additions include a person looking at a map, a person taking a selfie and a person dressed in typical tourist attire.
