What an intense week!

On Sunday we came home late in the evening (read: night). On Monday morning it was time for me to go to work and for Peter to start with blog work, invoices, meetings and fixing the houseboat. This week has really gone sooo fast. We still have a lot to be happy about! Today there will be another film from Wismar and a report both from our houseboat and from the new commuter train station in Stockholm.

New film

Peter has made another film from our trip to Wismar, and you can watch it here. This time there are mixed film sequences from the boat trip, the campsite, the city and all the people who joined us. In short: Motorhome meeting in Wismar.

Stockholm City - the new commuter train station

This week I visited Södertälje (on business) and had the chance to test the new commuter train station. Stockholm City. The station was inaugurated on 10 July, replacing the old commuter train station at Stockholm Central Station. The platforms are 12 metres under the blue line (previously thought to be deep) and a total of 40-44 metres underground.

My reflection? Really modern and stylish! Where the trains arrive there is now a glass wall with doors that only open when the train has stopped. A joy to ride the commuter train!

At home - with good food

Last but not least, being at home is actually a bit cosy. We love travelling, but we also love our houseboat. Every day when I come home from work, I am happy and grateful that I get to go out on our nice, rocking dock.

When I come home, Peter almost always has dinner ready, and I'm happy and grateful for that too. This week we have eaten lots of fish: lubb in creamy sauce, cod loin with mushrooms and blue cheese, and salmon with cold rum sauce. What is the most positive thing that happened during your week?
