Here we go again! I (Peter) visited the Kassandra peninsula that I wrote about yesterday and that was the first part. Today I will try to make the Greeks proud and write about five good restaurants in Kassandra. A few days ago we presented a survey about the Swedish people's views on food in different countries. Greece was at the top and I can only agree.

Five great restaurants in Kassandra
When you have help, you can do a lot in a few days. I have never been so full as during those days in Cassandra. One day we ate at noon from a fantastic buffet and then we would eat again at four and then ten in the evening again.
I told everyone that I can't eat at four again. When the food came in, there was no way to say no, absolutely crazy! They served the traditional food from Greek cuisine, thank you and hello! Now I was there again with my fingers far down in the bowls, haha. Here are some really good tips from me if you visit Kassandra and we take a little reading candy between the lines.
1. Ammon Zeus hotel
Ammon Zeus hotel where we stayed during our stay in Kassandra, with the sea 20 metres from our hotel. Good food and good service.
2nd Sani Resort
Sani resort is a 7 star hotel with very good food and service. Whole pool areas and the sea next door.
3. Villa Stasa
Villa Stasa is a traditional fish restaurant that is well worth a visit. The restaurant is located on a cliff facing the sea.
4. eat7
Eat7 is a Wine house restaurant with wines and food that is a bit more of everything. A must visit.
5th Kappa Resort
Kappa resort is a small family run resort where there are rooms for all sizes of families. The food was superb and so were the sea views. If you take in here, you will not go anywhere else because you have everything you need. Has also received an award as best "best Greek villas & holiday homes".

So good that the weekend is just around the corner because oh how you tickle my taste buds with this post. A real declaration of love for Greek food. Another tribute to your films that always make me feel present.
I love Greek food and we eat a lot of Greek-inspired food here at Getingsstorp.

Ama de casa says:
Gosh what a lot of goodies! Understand that it was impossible to skip a meal, it would have taken a superhuman self-restraint to do so 🙂 ).
Here in town they seem to bully Greece. There is probably no Greek restaurant that I can think of in any case. (Then there are so many, so I do not know about everyone and also there have been several new ones during the time we were out on the lake). It has hardly even been possible to buy haloumi cheese in the shops, although now I have at least found them in a couple of shops.
Otherwise, I like Greek food. Also. 🙂

Peter says:
I know! I know! We had started training before I left and it went to hell immediately. Damn Greeks, haha. When everything is in front of you and there is a good mood, a glass of cold white wine comes in, more trays on the table with good food, then it is not possible to say no.

That's exactly what I'm trying to tell you, and I ate with my stomach.

Dregel, dregel! My God, my mouth is watering now. Incredibly well presented food. Appetising and yes, here you can probably talk about a food orgy with food orgasm as a result, I would say.
Love your films. Oh the favourite food here was undoubtedly the sardines and kleftiko - yummy.
PS. You achieved so much in such a short time!!! DS.

Peter says:
We were only there for two days and there was a lot of pressure. Now you realise that you were eating like crazy and it was incredibly good. Sardines and the salad with figs, wow. Even the pasta that looks like large grains of rice with long-cooked meat was yummy, noooo, now I have to stop.........

Ditte says:
I have spent many summers boating and also travelling around Greece in other ways, but found the food to be ok, but usually quite heavy. But what you show here also shows a clear modernisation of the food towards more "light". Now I understand that you ate at well-chosen restaurants and that may not always be the case if there is a family with children travelling. And that is what we have done.
Otherwise, I am very fond of French food in general. But my favourites always end up in Asian cuisine.
Thanks for a great film and great food pictures. Understand that you could not skip meals.

Peter says:
I don't find this kind of Greek food in Sweden. My favourites are Lebanese, Asian, French and now Greek in Greece. All meals are from resorts except one, so it's just a matter of getting in and staying and eating.
