What do you do during the Christmas and festive season? Hopefully, you're eating Christmas cookies, spending time with your family, watching good TV shows, or whatever else you want to do. We've certainly done some of that, but mostly we're working on improving the blog. We are working and working... and now we hope you will help us and tell us what you think!

Better travel tips
What we are working on right now is to improve our travel tips, which you can find in the menu. Under each country we list sights, experiences and great places to visit - from north to south. We describe each place briefly, and then link to a blog post with more information. What we're doing right now is adding maps, so you can quickly get an overview and see what's going on. was in the country where the place in question is located.
Phew, this is a lot of work we can say! Let's hope it turns out well...? For example, you can look at our page on Poland, you can see what it looks like. The example below shows where the locality Łeba which is one of our tips in Poland. What do you think? Is it good, or should we do it differently?
Strange arrows?
When we started making the maps, we used a different kind of arrow. It was a coincidence that it was this kind of arrow, but afterwards we realised that it can look like you're drawing a route from one destination to another. That wasn't the intention ... Now we have added these arrows in several places, including at Czech Republic. Should we change ...? It's certainly many hours of work, but what's not to like? Be honest!
Updating images and posts
We also update old photos and posts. Sometimes we add some information that we think is missing or maybe an extra picture, but first and foremost it's about making the pictures bigger. In the past, we uploaded the pictures in a tiny size. Doesn't look good when you look at it now! Here you can see an example!
The top picture is the one we uploaded to the blog when we were in the Netherlands. Lisbon 2015. The bottom one is the image we switched to today... Times (and blogging!) change. (The difference is most visible on a computer, not so much on a mobile phone.).
What else should we do?
Is there anything else we should do to make it easier to find travel tips on our site? Is there anything you miss, or that you think we could do better?

I think your site is good as it is. But if you do not have a motorhome yourself, it will be a different kind of travelling, but you can still get inspiration!

The destinations can be the same, whether you're travelling by motorhome or not. We hope that everyone feels welcome 🙂

For my part, I think the arrows are good and it is clear what you want to show. Great with such nice and clear maps. We do not have a motorhome either but still get many tips from you of various kinds regarding travel and things to see and discover.
As far as improvements are concerned, I can't give you tips now. But maybe they will come by themselves.

We hope you will feel equally welcome whether you are travelling by motorhome or otherwise! Thank you for your feedback Ditte!

Like your travel tips page with maps. Wish I could do something similar, but don't know the technology.
There's not much about the UK, but you have so much else.
Take care!

We have barely been to the UK .... but we hope to get there, and then there will be more on the blog! 🙂 As for the technology, we use the free Canva programme, which is available online, ready to use. The maps we take from Google maps with a printscreen (screen cutting tool).

I think your blog and maps have worked well. But I have seen nice maps with the route filled in, I think it was on lillvik's blog last winter.
I go skiing in Vemdalen, get rid of some of the Christmas food that the family in Västerbotten has offered. Now warm and cosy in the motorhome at Vargens winter camping. Rolling towards Skåne before New Year.
Good continuation and appreciate your nice blog.

Solan says:
I think the blog works well. But is for natural reasons most interested in motorhome / houseboat. There is a slight imbalance with all "eastern travel". Always good with maps. Do not listen too much to all followers, best when you go on your own gut feeling. I think.??

Mr Nils-Åke Hansson says:
We have left our grandson who stayed with us for a few days after Christmas. We were at the railway museum in Ängelholm yesterday, a good place for children and adults.
Stay well

Like the previous speakers, I also think your travel tips are very good. I also agree with Solan - go ahead as you feel like it. Often less is more if you say so.
As far as the arrow and "plop" are concerned, I think a "plop" is more than enough, as it saves at least one step.

That arrow over the Czech Republic was very clear and good! You are so ambitious and manage so well. I like your approach even before!
