As some readers probably noticed, our blog was down yesterday. We were exposed to a hacker attack! Now the problems have been solved and it is perfect to celebrate this on a "Happy Friday", even if today's post is published. little later than usual. And we have celebrated Christmas, we have to tell you about that too!

Exposed to a hacker attack

Yesterday morning, our blog was shut down by our hosting company (One.com) because they discovered that we were subject to a hacker attack. In the evening, when I got home from work, we rolled up our sleeves together. One.com sent us a list of all the corrupted files and we had to go in through the "file manager" (a place on the web host where we can see all the blog's files) and delete all the corrupted files.

But does the blog work if you delete certain files? Nope, not exactly, so now the big job began! We had to re-download WordPress (the programme the blog is built in) and gradually replace files on our blog through the FTP server in Filezilla - and here I give up trying to explain what this means.

I can only say that we spent many hours (like seven) working on this, all with online support in English from One.com. And finally the blog was up again! Happy Friday!

Christmas celebrations

What about Christmas? We had winter vomiting just before Christmas, so in order not to infect anyone, we decided to stay at home. On Christmas Eve, however, we both felt fine. We didn't prepare any Christmas food, but went shopping for whatever we wanted.

It may not have been very Christmassy, but it was very festive with prawns, mussels and clams. oyster. A few days later, when we were sure not to infect anyone, we also had a little Christmas at my (Helena's) mum's house, who had arranged a Christmas tree and everything.

Musslor
Mussels, prawns, bread and beer can never be wrong!
Ostron
And then some oysters on it! (Here we couldn't make up our minds so we ended up with both bubbly and Dry Martini on the table - but it's only Christmas once a year!)

Christmas in Pampas marina

But did we not see any Christmas in Pampas marina then? Well, apart from the fact that many of the houseboats are beautifully lit, suddenly, in the middle of Christmas Eve, a boat appeared that was... very decorated for Christmas.

So, what has been the best part of your week?

Båt med julgran
Christmas decorated boat!
Båt med snögubbe
Both snowman and Santa Claus on board!
