FREEDOMtravel lectures
We will be giving two talks at Caravan Stockholm, talking about some of our favourite countries to travel with a motorhome. Both lectures are about half an hour long and take place on the stage at Destinationstorget. Don't miss this!
- Friday 16 February 12:30-13:00 pm - Travelling by motorhome in France and Croatia
- Saturday 17 February 12:30-13:30 pm - Travelling by motorhome in Poland and the Czech Republic
More exciting events
No, we're not the only ones "entertaining" at Caravan Stockholm 2018. The programme will be updated regularly, but there are already a number of exciting events listed. You can get inspired by the Vildmarksvägen (Thursday), particularly attractive roads in Sweden (Friday) and the Via Baltica (Sunday). In addition, you can join our blog colleagues Lisa Fahlåker and Annika Myhre making live recordings with Travelling podcast (Thursday).
You can get practical information on laws and regulations via the Swedish Transport Agency (Friday and Saturday) and you can ask any questions you want to the Motorhome School (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). And of course there will be entertainment! This year, comedian Tobias Persson (Friday) and Lotta Engberg (Saturday) will be there.
Exhibitors and news
The great thing about a trade fair is that there are lots of exhibitors. There are motorhome manufacturers, accessory sellers, ferries, camping companies, destinations, motorhome and caravan magazines and various others. Other new features at the fair include:
- Destination Square - with travel inspiration from travellers and experts on stage and on the stand. This is also where we will talk about France, Croatia, Poland and the Czech Republic!
- Milky Way - Together with Svea Husbilar they have organised a place where you can be photographed against a nice caravan wall, with a VIP feeling. Also present is Nordic Husbilar, which specialises in developing motorhomes for our northern climate.
- Mercedes Marco Polo - This motorhome is marketed as "the motorhome that doesn't get noticed" or as "the car that happens to be a motorhome on the inside". Interesting!

We will not only be at the fair when we give lectures. No, we will have a stand in the fair during all days. Of course, we cannot promise to be there every second, but we will try to be there as much as possible.
We will be at the Destination Square during all days of the fair with travel information and hopefully both scrolling pictures and a fun competition. Above all, we hope to meet and talk to the following people you! Are you planning to come?

Will be fun to take part of your trip in Poland and the Czech Republic and also to look around at other exhibitors, you can get some tips on a little of everything and maybe make some purchases.

Of course, I will also be at this year's fair. Do not think I have missed any. motorhome fair in Kista. We have no plans to change our motorhome, I think it is nice to check out news, experience the atmosphere, meet friends and acquaintances. I will be there on Friday.

When you wrote about the fair a while ago, we planned a trip to Stockholm, but somehow it seems that plans are made to be changed. Now it will be Asia Spa in Varberg with the daughters that weekend and Stockholm weekends in January and March. Otherwise, your lecture on Croatia would have attracted when we get there in May.
We have Elmia close by, so there is usually a trip there.
