Allt för sjön 2018 - This year's boat show is currently taking place in Stockholm. The fair is open from 3-11 March, and Peter was there yesterday to check it out. He watched a wakeboard show in the new activity pool and checked out everything from modern boats with huge engines to a hydrocopter that travels on snow, ice and water.
Water Park
The 2018 All for the Lake has a 40 metre long and 15 metre wide activity pool where you can try different activities such as canoeing, stand up paddle-boarding (SUP), windsurfing, dinghy sailing and wakeboarding. You can also check out different shows, and Peter managed to time a wakeboarding show.
Boats at Allt för sjön 2018
What would a boat show be without boats? We're not experts on boats, so there won't be any in-depth reports, but we can at least show some pictures from this year's show. We can see that there are some strong pops of colour, but also that black seems to be a hot colour for modern boats.
More than just boats
As usual, there's more than just boats at the boat show. Peter found the Snow Ice Water 420 hydrocopter, which travels on snow, ice and water. According to the sign, this craft is 'perfect for when the ice is not breaking up'. The hydrocopter takes three people and costs SEK 225 000.
Peter also found a fresh new flatbed mop and a pair of binoculars that can see for miles. If you also want to take a look at the fair you have up to and including Sunday. From Friday to Sunday, both Explore (formerly known as the Wilderness Fair) and the Photography Fair open, so you can see all three fairs on the same ticket.
We'll see if we can get there this weekend - in the meantime, you can check out those 7 activities we tried at the fairs last year. Have you been to the boat show this year or are you planning to check out any of the shows this weekend?
Britt-Marie Lundgren says:
Boat show is not something that attracts us but both Fotomässa and Explore sounds nice (but as usual we go to Stockholm wrong weekend).

It is not always possible to time! We may look past the fairs this weekend and then of course there will be a report ðŸ™'

Give me an oak tree in a lake -
or a canoe, such as a Canadian...
and I will be happy. 🙂

Gliding along in a canoe is not wrong! 🙂

What cool pictures! One of the girls who has been in Järvsö is actually going to the boat show tomorrow. But I myself will drive up to Hedemora for my aunt's funeral, not quite as fun....
Have fun!

Depending on the weather tomorrow, we have actually planned to visit the Boat Show and the Photo Fair. However, wilderness life is not our thing, so we will probably skip that hall.

Looking forward to seeing your report then! 🙂

I used to go to boat shows with my dad who was interested in boats. Yes, what would a boat show be without boats....
One of those binoculars might have been something =)

Lots of other stuff and some concrete says:
There will be no boat show for us. In the past, when we had a slightly larger boat that we renovated, we were there every year. So much fun with all the accessories that you might not have realised you were missing.
Have a nice weekend!
