A total of 170,000 visitors, including 110,000 travel industry professionals, attended the world's largest travel fair in Berlin on 7-11 March this year. There were 10,000 exhibitors from 186 different countries.

Best travel site on mobile phones
The tech media, event and marketing company IDG.se has named Sweden's best mobile travel site. SJ won, and the justification points out that SJ has improved its interfaces for tickets, booking and rebooking to make it even easier for customers to travel by train.
97 per cent of SJ's tickets are sold digitally and a third via their apps, making them exceptional even from an international perspective. SJ was also one of the first major online players to introduce the popular payment method Swish.
Eurovision brings rush to Lisbon
Benjamin Ingrosso with the song Dance you off won the competition and will represent Sweden in Lisbon in May. Tickets' booking statistics now show that travel bookings to the Lisbon is increasing significantly, as many Swedes want to be there to see Sweden compete.

Exciting that Ving won in so many categories! I have never travelled with Ving, but it sounds like they are good then haha.
We have a Citroen Cactus, it matches my personality well I think haha. Colourful, does not really follow the norm but is still very simple 😉.

Hmm... Looking at the cars I have had over the years, I am both safe, environmentally conscious, prestigious, old-fashioned and careful. However, I have never ever been youthful. A little sad, actually... But it's not too late yet 😀.
19 March 2018 - 10:13
Helena says:
Wow, that's a lot of qualities at once 😉 And no, it's not too late to become youthful, of course.
19 March 2018 - 16:04
Travel Linda says:
Environmentally conscious and cautious apparently... It would have been fun to visit ITB one year, you have to set aside several days to see everything!
I visited Daftö as a child, long before it became the resort it is today and I remember it as a wonderful and exciting holiday, so they are certainly worth a prize!
19 March 2018 - 14:54
Helena says:
Nice that you visited Daftö as a child! Probably not quite the same today 😉 We ourselves have not been there at all ...

Ditte says:
Great! Just today we met a number of different people from Europe and China who had been to the fair in Berlin and briefed us. Now they were going to Hong Kong and Shaghai after Beijing.
As for the car, we have none in Stockholm and are so happy with it. Have had a Golf GTI. But I really wonder what one would say about the personality that has a baby pink Rolls Royce, the largest model. We saw one today in Beijing. And it was a young woman. who got into it. With a chauffeur.
19 March 2018 - 15:09
Helena says:
Oh yeah, baby pink Rolls Roys with their own driver ... well, it doesn't feel very Swedish or "just right" anyway 😉.

So SJ has the best travel site. Have not travelled with SJ for at least 20 years, so it has passed me by.
The concert on board was great. What a fun idea. SAS has really invested heavily in recent years. Good PR for the company, which was really needed.
Hahaha! I see that neither your Renault nor our Peugeot is on the list. Boycott of French cars perhaps;-)

Britt-Marie Lundgren says:
Today, I prefer to avoid resorts if we are staying at a campsite. However, I have spent a few days on Daftö on two occasions, as an accompanying parent when a couple of my daughters were there at camp school. However, it is 20-25 years ago, so something has probably happened there.
When it comes to car models, if the survey is to be believed, we probably have a number of different characteristics, because we have not been particularly brand loyal.

JoY says:
As for the cars and personality, I have everything but adventurous. Hmm how does that go together when we have a motorhome?
Hugs to you

As a Gothenburg resident, it's always been Volvo. But now, in my old age, it has become a smaller car, the Golf. Security! behind our choices!

Evy Knoph says:
Fun post as usual... Yes we Renault owners (Clio Sport tourer.. very satisfied) apparently have no personality :-)? Yes SJ has lifted its booking ... was completely shocked last time when I did not book trains for a few years that there was a clear and clear arrow with direction of travel when choosing a seat! Was pure rocketscience to figure out which seats were forward earlier..50% chance that it was right ...
